Hospitality Provision in Travel and Tourism Sector: A Comprehensive Analysis_2

Introduction
In this given assignment we are going to briefly discuss the importance of hospitality in travel
and tourism sector. Travel and tourism business is one of the most rapidly growing businesses
that have brought globalization into its own periphery. The number of travelers is increasing
day by day. Travelling was not much of a habit in the past but now it has grown up to a really
very vital thing to escape from our daily life. Tourism has a slight distance from traveling but
these two cannot be kept in water tight compartments separately. Anyways since both belong
to the same genre, both is often considered to be the same thing.
LO1 Understand the role of the hospitality industry within the travel and tourism sector
1.1 Discuss the interrelationships between hospitality and wider travel and tourism
businesses
The hospitality sector primarily supports with the accommodation, fooding & beverage,
commuters and transportation, healthcare facilities and etc. But all these depend on the skills
of communications of the ground operator of the tourist organization. There are different
linguistics and culture of different places and often people do not understand how to convey
what they want to say to the local marketers and the hotel management for various room or
food issues. There if there is an effective hospitality management who has better and effective
skills of communication then they can make the tour a convenient one. As stated earlier there
are two different types who go out of their homes for a new destination. There is a traveler,
and the other is a tourist. Both leave their homes with a thought of visiting a place and
experiencing the culture of their but both has different perspective to it (Tsaur and Chen,
2018). A traveler is someone who has went out to actually know and rediscover the place, the
quality of lodging or fooding is not much of a concern to those types of places but definitely a
standard level of comfort is always expected. But for the tourist the scene is a bit different,
here they visit the place to spend some leisure time from their daily hassle-bustle. Here
comfort is a very important factor because a tourist is not ready to compromise with a budget
hotel. He/she has the perspective of pampering oneself and utilizes the purpose of vacation.
The itineraries have to be chalked and kept with considerable resting period so that there is
not much of travelling during the vacation. Tourism companies mostly targets these types of
people. The word tourists are made for these people who step out for the tourism (Herrero et
al., 2018). The hospitality has to be very excellent to satisfy these clients. People mostly go
out with their families on a vacation and expect a 5-star service at their door just a phone call
away, from the bed tea to room service, the quality of food every bit of tour has to be handled

with concern. Therefore we can see that hospitality is very closely related to the travel and
tourism industry. And therefore we can see now-a-days that the hospitality management has
become a new course in academics to make it a professional platform and build its own
industry. Hospitality staffs are found in almost everywhere we go, from the airlines to hotels
including fooding and lodging there is always someone who is ready to help you to offer the
best service. This thing had not been there two years back. This industry has come up as a
daughter of the tourism industries (Qiu et al., 2018). Therefore now we can see that
hospitality industry is developing all across the globe and the young generations are rushing
into this professional sector be it in Hospitals, hotels or Restaurants. The pattern of serving is
changing and it is becoming more professional with every passing day.
Better Job scopes for Youths: there are various subjects that people need to have skills in few
are born with the talents and few need to develop it. The Hospitality management is such a
sector of tourism where you can be trained to perform. The course includes every bit of how
to handle clients and meet their demands and negotiate to keep the profit of the management.
The tourism industry needs a lot of hospitality staff who can be there with the group while
they are travelling to give support and necessary things during the vacation. We often find a
local assistant to our journey that helps us with any problem that we meet. This has opened up
huge job scopes for the upcoming generations as the globalization is reaching its optimum
level with so many hotels and motels growing up, newer destinations being re-discovered for
the people to travel and spend time there (Tresidder and Martin, 2018).
Generates money:
The tourism business when clubbing with hospitality management can earn more profit by
giving a better service to the clients which will satisfy them and make them more interested in
traveling. This will generate income for the tourism organization and revenue for the
government. In developing countries now-a-days traveling has become a very uprising habit
of the people. As the employment rates keep increasing, the youths of the various countries
step out of their homes to make budget trips and in countries where the number of youth is
maximum it is very wise on the part of the tourism industries to make budget plans of
traveling for the various destinations so that the youths can avail those. This can make the
business prosperous. The hospitality industry along with the tourism industry has the ability to
draw in more foreign investment since both are government boosted (Marquardt, 2018). The
holiday packages are the prime thing that the tourism companies must look on. As stated
earlier, the youth is the major part of the population,, therefore the companies must make
various kinds of budget plans and holiday packages targeting various types of the groups. The
