TOPIC: “The impact of HR practices on staff retention” INTRODUCTION Human resource management is undertaken as the strategic approach to effectual as well as efficacious individual’s management within firm. Moreover, it assists their business to obtain competitive benefits. Additionally, motivation is described as the series of dynamic procedures that incorporates maintenance, generation and norms of motivation of that fundamental function which approach towards learning by RPE, rewards and others. In addition to this, motivation plays essential role within staff retention within firm. The main aim of this research is to determine the motivational process performed by HR department for retaining their staff within organization. Research Problem- It has been analysed that the issue of high employee turnover and demotivation is highly increasing within the employees that is main problem faced by business organisation in current market scenario. The topics which are going to be discussed in this dissertation are research aim, objective and literature review. Apart from this, research methodology and data collection are described below: Research aim The main aim of current project is, “To evaluate about the concept of HR practises along with identifying its impact on staff retention within a Firm.” Research Objectives To review about the phenomena of HR practises along with determining its needs and importance within a firm. To evaluate about a range of HR practises along with defining which HR practises motivate or demotivates the employees. To investigate about the overall impact of effective HR practises on the staff retention within a firm. Research Questions What is meant by the HR practises along with determining its needs and importance within a firm? 1

Literature Review Research methodology Research Philosophy: There are mainly two philosophies that investigator utilised essentially within research that incorporates positivism as well as interpretivism. For this study, positivism philosophy is opted as this helps the to acknowledge gathered data effectively. Research method:This is undertaken as techniques which are adopted by investigator to accumulate more reliable and relevant information. Moreover, there are generally three methods of research as through that they can attain or gather data which is in numerical and statistical form. Also, for it quantitative method is utilised by research and may choose several methods such as survey. Research approach: It is viewed as process which considered stages in respect to board assumptionofdescribedmethodologiestogatherinformationanddetermineit effectively. Additionally, there are essentially two kinds inductive and deductive. For it, investigator opt deductive approach as it aids in evaluatingand examining numerical data without undertaking longer time to attain aim & objectives of respective research. Within respective researchquantitative research methodwould be applied as this aids research to accumulate much systematized as well as practical information for meeting the set objectives by obtaining data in statistical form where collection of data would be made with the help of questionnaire. 2
