Present research is taken in to consideration on employee development and also its well being. In performing this
research, information about the basic core areas can be understand effectively. Present report helps in provide
knowledge regarding well being of employees and their growth. Through this, skills and the core competencies
about the specific areas can be minimized and this will help learner in future to completing whole investigation
within given time period.

Section Five: Research approach and methodologies
Research method: Quantitative Research has been taken into consideration to conduct the investigation on
chosen topic i.e. “To analyse the role of HR manager in employee development and well-being”.
Research philosophy: It consist of two main methods which are positivism and interpretivism.
Investigators of the study, use philosophy of positivism because it depends on quantitative data and is more
scientific way as it gives accurate outcomes.
Research approaches:This is a plan and procedure that consist of steps of broad assumptions to a
explained method of data collection along with interpretation and analysis. It is majorly based on nature of
the research. It is broadly divided into two main categories such as inductive or deductive. In this study,
deductive approach has been utilized because it gives a possibility to evaluate concepts of the study in a
quantitative way
Data collection: Primary research has been conducted for this research, where questionnaire data
collecting tool has been utilised to pull out favourable information. Along with this secondary methodology
is utilised to perform the literature review section .
Research sampling: For performing this investigation non-probabilistic sampling method will be used to
gather information without any sort of bias behaviour. Further in this random sampling method will be used
which support in choosing respondents on random basis for increasing the validity and reliability of
investigation where the 50 respondents has been taken into consideration to conduct the research in a
rightful manner.
