INTRODUCTIONHuman resource development refers to a process which is helpful in making the businesssuccessful. Managers help in choosing the talented and skilled staff members in an effective way.Managers develop the talented employees as they provide training, learning and alsodevelopment opportunities to them which help in raising the performance level of group, personsand team members. Training and development refers to those activities which affect the companyas well as staff members (Barney, Ketchen Jr and Wright, 2011). It helps in enhancing theknowledge, abilities and also skills of employees. This assignment is based on the “People 'R'“Us”. It is a small sized HR consultancy business firm in the United Kingdom. The presentreport mentions about various styles of learning. At every level, the need of training is necessary.Advantages and also limitations of different training methods will be discussed in this study.Further, report will be highlight the role of government in training, development and lifelonglearning. TASK 11.1 Various learning stylesContinuous improvement in that process which is necessary for staff members for longperiod of time. “People 'R' “Us” company will helpful in using the various styles of learning forstaff members of Sun Court homes care homes in order to increasing their skills and capabilitiesin an effective manner. It is necessary that employees should learn the basic abilities so that theycan treat consumers in a proper and fair manner (Bhamra, Dani and Burnard, 2011). There aredifferent kinds of learning styles which managers of “People 'R' “Us” have used. These are givenas below:Kolb's learning styleThis style depends on the experienced skills. This learning style addresses two differentframeworks i.e. concrete experience and also abstract concept. In context to this, learningprocess consists of four different methods which help in giving the response to situations. It willdeveloping a single learning cycle which helps in analysing and also monitoring a significantconcept related to the scientific research and some other individual gain an experience in varioussituations. 1

Alan Mumford's Model and Peter HoneyOn the basis of this model, all staff members are free to select their learning mode withthe help of using it in a right manner (Blair and Raver, 2012). Under this four different modelsare mention below as above:Activist- On the basis of this, person can gain some knowledge for the purpose ofperforming by adopting different learning activities and styles which consists group discussion,puzzle solving and participate in various competitions.Theorist- There are many learners which follow this learning style mode in order toexecuting historical stories in which consists truths, scientist , scholars etc.Pragmatist- These kinds of people are lean to learn different things throughimplementation of case studies and also some historical stories of existing time period.Reflectors- Under this, people learn different functions and things which are arising inrecent world. 2Illustration 1: Kolb's learning style(Source: McLeod, 2017)
