Human resource management can be defined as the function with a
company which concentrate on the talent management, recruitment,
administration and development of employees (Chelladurai and Kerwin,
2018). Human resources are initially concerned with the people
management within companies, focusing on the system and policies. The
presentation will examine the HR issues raised in article “The High Cost of
Discrimination in Collegiate Athletics” taken from Athlete Business
Magazine’ related to athlete administration and find out the possible causes
and solution associated with the analyzed problem.

The report summarise the issues of discrimination which is faced by female
coaches in last few years (Chelladurai and Kerwin, 2018). In the article,
this has been stated that several female coaches have been claimed lawsuits
under the perceived discrimination. This has given the example of Miller

The division of HRM of UMD is liable for shaping and influencing individual for
such perspectives by executing different plans at sport administration. There is
plenty amount of gender and race discrimination in sports which deprives one
from major accomplishments and success (Kristi Schoepfer-Bochicchio. 2018).
According to the report, approximate 40% of female workers are facing major
biases issues within their workplace. Sport is the domain which doesn’t focus
over the individual’s physical appearance but looks for the skills and abilities and
