INTRODUCTIONHuman resource development is an essential part of for every organization in which manager ofcompany easily enhances employee’s capabilities by providing them better training programs. Itis a systematic approach in which manager improves the working skills of workforce. Basically,it includes training, recruitment, selection, development and many more which leads inimproving the employee’s performance level in a positive manner (Human ResourcesDevelopment, 2016). Main function of human resource development is to enhance qualityperformance by providing the best job training so that they will effectively perform their best.Present report is based on Sun Court Limited, which is the biggest organization in UK. In thisassignment, various learning styles will be discussed. Along with this, role of government intraining and development will also be highlighted. Also, need of training at various levels oforganization as well as role of government with regards to training, development and lifelonglearning will be studies here.TASK 11.1 Different type of learning stylesIn today's modern era, providing better learning opportunities is one of the importanttasks for every organization in order to improve their working style at workplace. It is relatedwith links, beliefs, abilities, values and behaviour of the employees. With the help of this, staffmembers easily improve their organizational performance level at market place and also getcompetitive advantage from its rivals. Along with this, various researchers use various learning styles in order to maintain betterenvironment at the workplace. In this context, there are some learning styles used by manager ofthe Sun Court which are as follows:Kolb's learning styles: As per David Kolb's views, for improving the working style,person needs to follow this variety which is related with combines learning cycle. All are asfollows:Divergence: As per this style, people firstly observe and learn after which they take anykind of decision. These types of individuals are best in artistic work and activities(Bamberger, Biron and Meshoulam, 2014).1

Assimilation: According to this style, individuals believe in logical work in which theyare the best in conducting research and scientific invention to find a better concept.Convergence: In this stage of learning style, people focus on practical work in order toresolve all practical problems in the most effective manner (Barney, Ketchen Jr andWright, 2011).Accommodation: This stage of learning style is related with the inner feeling of people.With the help of this, individuals easily understand all the intrinsic aspects as well asfeelings in an effective manner. They always find better solution as per working of thepeople because they do not conduct any kind of research.On other side, Honey and Mumford's style is also used by company to improve learningof the workforce at workplace. It includes four effective styles which are as follows:Activists: These types of individuals take new experience in less time duration. They doesnot think about end results because they likes learn new and innovative things.Reflectors learning style: These types of individuals always focus on gathering primaryand secondary information from better resources and reach at results in a systematicmanner. Before taking any kind of decision and giving opinion, people listen others pointof view. Theorist: People following this type of style have interest in developing new theories bytheir observation and experiments. With the help of this, they resolve all the problemsand issues in the most effective manner.Pragmatics learning style: As per this style of learning theory, person always make newexperiments of innovative theories which have never been seen before. They like toaccept new challenges and opportunities to find better ways in an effective manner. Thismethod is developed by the Sun Court Limited for its staff members to improve theirlearning style as per the situation.Both learning styles help in improving capabilities and performance level of employees atworkplace in the most effective manner (Bernstein, 2014).1.2 Role of training curve and importance of transferring learning at workplaceLearning curve is effective aspect which define employees performance at the workplace.With the help of this people easily develop their performance as pet their mistake.
