1 Introduction
The growth of the organizations is dependent on the enhancements of the workforce and
their smooth functioning. A company aiming to prosper in the market must undertake steps in
order to keep the workforce motivated. The most important consideration undertaken by the
organizations are based on the requirements of continuous development. The continuous
developments help the organizations to make them sustainable in the market. The disputes in the
workforce slow down the production process and thereby affect the continuous growth of the
organizations in the market. Therefore, the organizations aims at enumerating ways in order to
manage the human resource more efficiently for undertaking the smooth functioning of the
business.
The concerned company for this report, Southern Foods Limited (SFL), is facing issues
relating to the human resource that is affecting the smooth functioning of the organization. The
disputes in the human resource have affected the productivity of the organization largely. The
minimal workforce and the remuneration that the workforce receives have resulted to the
disputes. The most important point that is being undertaken by the organization is based on the
new policies that are being framed based on the requirements of the organization to make its
progress (Hendry 2012). The issues faced by the organization relating to the human resource
have created a major setback for undertaking the progress of the organization. The most
important consideration undertaken by the organization is based on the requirements of the
organization to make its progress. Therefore, the company must take steps in order to empower
the human resource and keep them motivated to undertake smooth functioning of the
organization (Anderson 2013).

The purpose of the report is to understand the different flaws in the management
undertaken by the company relating to its human resource and development. The company must
take steps in order to ensure the uniform empowerment of the organizations and thereby make its
progress in the market. The decisions undertaken by the managing director of the organization
and the issues that the organization faces relating to the human resource based on the decision is
an important observation that is being undertake in this analysis. Moreover, the report also
enumerates the steps that the organization must undertake in order to ensure the safe progress of
the organization in the market.
2 Critical review of the situation of the organization
The organization that has been selected for the analysis is a company that manufactures
food items and supply the same based on the varied requirements of the other organizations.
They are the main suppliers of the finished goods to their clients who are into retailing outlets.
The most important steps that is being undertaken by the organization is that it maintains a
customizable menu scheme, which is applicable for most of the companies who are taking their
supplies (Bratton and Gold 2012). The concerned company undertakes supplies to the Frankie’s
Hot Dog Restaurants Ltd. The point to be noted in this context is based on the effectiveness of
the supplies undertaken by the organization. Frankie’s is a restaurant who directly imports foods
from SFL. The reason behind such activities undertaken by the Frankie’s is due to the lack of
efficiency of the company in the hospitality industry.
The company, Frankie’s lack in the flexibility of their menu, which must have been based
on the requirements of the clients. Moreover, the company also faces a lack of the human
resources that might have helped them in undertaking the improvements of the organization.

Therefore, the company is left with no choice other than simply importing food materials from
the SFL. On the other hand, SFL faces a serious issue in meeting with the increased
requirements of the host company, Frankie’s. The costs that are being undertaken by the
organization help in determining the increase in the recurring costs of the organization. In order
to meet up to the requirements of the host company, SFL is required to install a set of machinery.
The lack of flexibility in the organizational structure has affected the growth of the organization
in the market. In order to reduce the cost of the undertaking of the company, the managing
director of SFL has taken certain decisions that affected the human resource and their smooth
functioning in the organization. The issues that are being faced by the organization are being
enumerated in this section of the report. It helps in the better understanding of the situations
faced by the workforce and the impacts of their actions on the productivity of the organization.
2.1 Issues faced by the organization based on the human resource
The issues that are being faced by the organizations relating to the human resource are
based on the steps and decisions that are being undertaken by the management, hoping to
enhance the productivity of the organization (Jiang et al. 2012). The issues that are being faced
by the organization are being enumerated in this section. It gives a clear insight of the problems
faced by the organization and thereby brings in changes for the smooth functioning of the
workforce.
2.1.1 Lower amount of employees in the production department
The concerned company, SFL, has reduced the workforce in order to save the costs of
production. The production charges being involved in their investments are yielding lower
returns on the investments for their enterprise. In order to save costs, the company has chosen to
cut off the supply of the skilled labor. The cut of has resulted to an enormous amount of
