INTRODUCTION
Human Resource is one of the most effective departments of any organization as it is their
responsibility to look after the complete welfare of the employees and the company. This
report is based on the understanding and the ability to effectively apply the principles of human
resource management. This assignment is majority splatted into parts. In the first part of the
assignment, the scope and the purpose of the HRM and the recruitment along with the
selection is explained. The different purpose of the HR functions, roles and responsibilities of
the HR Officer, pros and cons of the present selection methods and further improvements in
them are presented in a report. While in the second part of the report the employee
performance, development and rewards along with the factors that are influencing the decision
making of the
HR is explained.

A- HRM FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO THE
WORKFORCE IN THE PLANNING AND RESOURCING OF ORGANIZATION BASED
ON THE GIVEN PROBLEMS
The recruitment process in any organization like the ‘Say it with Chocolate’ is conducted by the
HR Officers in order to ensure the development and the growth of the company by the
selection of those deserving candidates who possess skills and potential that can help in the
attainment of organizational growth (Banfield, et al. 2018).

The purpose and the different functions of HRM in the ‘Say it with Chocolate’ are defined as
below-

The purpose of the HRM in the company is to coordinate with the different people in
the Say it with Chocolate and help in the organizational goals (Wehrmeyer, 2017)
The function of the HR Officer is to recruit potential employees in the organization with
skills and knowledge who can help to attain the organization's aims and objectives
HR Officer provides support to the different employees to come up with innovation that
can result in increased productivity and the profitability (Lussier and Hendon, 2017)
The HR department look after the Payroll Management of the employees and resolve
the issues and conflicts amongst the employees
The HR Officers need to monitor the performance and progress of the employees so as
to first identify and then resolve the obstacles that are hindering their performance and
helps in their overall development (Snell, et al. 2015)
The employees in the Say it with Chocolate are rewarded with different benefits, perks
and incentives for outstanding performance and achieved targets
HR Managers need to build effective strategies for the attainment of competitive
advantage in the market and to gain a good brand image
HR Manager needs to initiate and develop trading programs for the employees so that
their skills get developed with the help of workshops and seminars (Bratton and Gold,
2017)

The planning that is being done by the analysis of the needs and the requirements of the
business and by the consideration of different elements like quality, experience, skills and
knowledge is the workforce planning that can help in the attainment of organizational growth.
It is essential to recruit candidates with high capabilities and skills in the Say it with Chocolate
