Introduction
In this highly competitive world, I want to become a skilled human resource manager so
that I can serve my employees more effectively. As I have education in the aspect of technology,
obviously I aim to serve one of the leading brands of the country as well as of the world. In that
case I would like to prepare myself to become the HR manager of the electronic corporation
named Hewlett Packard Company.
The company does not have an official mission statement. However, it has the only
statement as “the HP way” that states the values and objectives of the company. The vision of
this company is to create such technology that can make the life better for everyone and
everywhere. The mission statement of HP is to keep reinventing. The value of the company
includes the betterment intension for every person associated with it and every community and
organisation around the globe. This idea of enhancing quality of life drives the company and its
decisions as well as actions. The company keeps on invent and reinvent and to engineer that
amazes everybody.
The position of HR manager interests me because,
Firstly, I think this position is extremely rewarding. I can meet new people every time and found
the calibre in them to utilise for the growth of the company.
Secondly, I will get the opportunity to create meaningful and lasting relation which include the
higher authority and the ground level staffs.
Finally, as I have technical background, I can utilise my knowledge properly.

Salary- $78,751 yearly
Working hours- 8 hours
Accountable to- Performance during the probation period

Location- Toronto, Canada
Job Responsibilities:
Maintaining the work structure through adapting the job requirements as well as job
descriptions for every position.
Maintaining organisational staffs by recruiting and testing then interviewing them.
Preparing the employees for the assignments through establishing orientation as well
as training programs.
Maintaining plan of payment by conducting a period pay survey, scheduling job
evaluation and preparation of the pay budgets.
Consulting with their employers for identifying the needs as well as preferred
qualifications for the recruitment.
Resolving issues between the management and the employees.
Advising the managers on the policies such as equal employment opportunities as
well as sexual harassment.
Coordinating and supervising Specialists and staffs.
Overseeing the recruitment for hiring process and direct disciplinary processes.
