INTRODUCTION
Human resource management is a process when they are managed the whole organization
and their structured. This is an operation in companies to determine the employee performance
that meet the objective and goals of company (Nickson and 2018). There are many processes
done by the Human Resource Management (HRM) such as recruiting process, provide induction,
proper skills' development program. It also includes the benefits, performance Employee safety,
encouraging, appraisal, maintaining relationship between the employees. In this Report, they will
determine the planning and role of the manager for Wood hill College. Explain the different type
of selection process has some weakness and strength of the college. As per report, they are
identified the role of manager and what are the task performed in the Human management.
TASK 1
1.1 purpose of workforce planning and the role of HR manager in workforce planning and
resourcing for Woodhill College
The organization will hire HR. manager because they will change the environment and
workforce planning is beneficial for business planning. The manager will solve the problem
related workforce issues and predict future issues (Nel and et.al 2018). A talented manager will
provide the project staffing, develop proper job classes and create an effective company
environment. Woodhill College has talented manager to managed the whole HR. department
because they are implementing new ideas, practices on the project issues. All the duties are based
on the size of organization. There are some duties for planning the workforce as follows:
Start a skill development training for the employee
Collection of data are stored in the database to analysis the business operation for each
department.
Hiring the talented people.
Creating a strategic planning for the development.
Maintain the work culture and timing.
Determine the critical job titles and classified job role.
Workforce planning is the same when to create the strategy that would be manage the

1.2 Strengths and weaknesses of different approaches to recruitment and selection

(McDermott and et.al 2017). Internal hiring process is that when they will provide the job

when the current employee taking a fast decision and reducing the budget. It also promotes the
employee and support the moral duties and their efficiency (Boella and 2017). Sometimes, they
have unmanaged internal hiring process so that it is very tough for HR. management to control
the other process.
The internal recruitment process depend upon the planning, consistent performance,
strong management. The process has some rules and policies as the unclear rules creating a lot of
tension and issues in the organization (Knowles and et.al 2017). Internal employees is reviewed
and applicants are not suitable for the post than the organization advertise externally and has to
decide to hire the fresh applicant. There are many methods of external recruiting process. First is
base level, when they will hire from the school and university to provide the optimistic
recruitment sources. External applicants has high quality professional degree, employees
referrals are required.
There are different sources of the external recruitment process. The most important

employees are already doing work on the same business so that it is very easy for taking quick

In HRM, there are different type of functions that are helpful enough to make sure that
