Aim, Objectives and Research questions
The main aim is to determine the importance of motivation within an organization. The main
objective is to identify the best method for motivation and that will support the individuals in
order to provide better performance towards the organization.
Following are the research objectives:
To identify factors that are responsible for motivating the employees within an
organization
To analyze impact of motivational aspects on the individual performance of the
employees
To identify whether motivated people offer better productivity towards the
organization
The research questions that are associated with this research are as follows:
1. What are the major factors that are responsible for motivating the employees within an
organization?
2. Is there any impact of motivational aspects on the individual performance of the
employees?
3. Do motivated people offer better productivity towards the organization?

Literature Review
2.1 Concept of motivation
Employee motivation plays a major role within an organization. Thus it becomes
important to understand the concept of motivation. The term motivation is mainly used for the
purpose of motivating the employees within an organization. There are basically three types of
motivations that are used for motivating the employees this includes a motivation, extrinsic
motivation and intrinsic motivation. Motivation helps in ensuring that the employee is being
dedicated towards the goals. There are several theories associated with the motivation that helps
in providing better support towards the employees (Arifin 2015). There are different reasons
behind motivating an employee. Motivated employees have the potential to provide better
benefits towards the organization and also ensure that the production rate of the organization has

also increased. With an effective way of motivating the employees it can be stated that the risks
associated with the organization likely tends to reduce and also allows the management to meet
the organizational goals.
2.2 Motivation methods
Motivation plays a crucial role within an organization. Thus it becomes important to
implement proper measures within the organization so that proper performance can be obtained.
There are several theories that help in influencing the employees within the organization are
content theory, Alderfer’s ERG theory, processes cognitive theory, goal theory, equity theory
and expectancy theory.
The content theory states that satisfying the needs of people for the purpose of ensuring
better benefits towards the organization. These theories determine the need and restore the
balance so that they can satisfy the behavior of the employee (Zameer et al. 2014). Needs theory
mainly focuses on distinguishing between the primary needs along with the secondary needs of
every individual. This ensures that all the basic needs and demands related to employees are
satisfied so that they can provide better support towards the organization. The organization needs
to implement proper measures so that they can provide better support towards the organization.
On the other hand the Alderfer’s ERG theory states that there is a high need to understand the
motivation theory based on the existence needs and relatedness needs. The method through
which it becomes easy to increase the motivation within the workplace includes developing a
proper positive work environment that will ensure better support towards the organization (Asim
2013). With the implementation of proper motivation method the productivity of the
organization can be improved and will also help in improving the performance. Apart from this
one of the effective methods that can be used by the organization to motivate their employees

towards achieving the goal includes providing incentives towards their hard work. With the
implementation of financial incentives within the organizational structure it will ensure better
production rate.
2.3 The importance of motivation on organizational effectiveness
With the help of effective methods in the organization it can be stated that the
performance of the employees can be enhanced. Motivation plays a crucial role within an
organization and hence it becomes essential for every organization to implement proper
measures that will motivate the employees for achieving the goal. This helps in improving the
level of efficiency of employees within the organization that further leads to increase in
productivity and reduces the overall cost behind the operations (Wani 2013). Delegate
Motivation expect an essential occupation inside an affiliation. Thusly it ends up basic to
appreciate the possibility of Motivation. The term Motivation is generally used to animate the
laborers inside an affiliation. There are basically three sorts of Motivations that are used for
stirring the delegates this fuses a motivation, unessential Motivation and characteristic
Motivation. Inspiration helps in ensuring that the laborer is being given towards the targets.
There are a couple of theories related with the Motivation that associates in giving better
assistance towards the delegates (Arifin 2015). There are different purposes for motivating a
specialist. Propelled agents can give better points of interest towards the affiliation and besides
ensure that the age rate of the affiliation has in like manner extended. With an effective
technique for pushing the delegates it might be communicated that the risks related with the
affiliation likely will as a rule diminish and moreover empowers the organization to meet the
legitimate destinations.
