This report is based on the impact of globalisation in the Construction industry on UK
construction Labour Market. Main aim of current study is to analysis role of globalisation in
construction industry. In literature review, all research objectives must be addressed which will
help a researcher in identifying impact of globalisation on construction labour market in United
Kingdom. For gathering accurate data about the research, different number of methods must be
used by researcher such as primary and secondary research, qualitative and quantitative research,
data collection, questionnaire etc. All these are essential and useful for researcher to accumulate
accurate data about the study. At last, conclusion and recommendation must be based on
negative impact of globalisation and different ways through which negative impact can be
overcome.
Methodology:
Primary and secondary are two types of data collection methods. Both type of research
must be essential for researcher because with the help of these they can easily collect in-depth

respondents having the opinion that they don't have knowledge about globalisation and having
various misconceptions. It is observed that it is much popular term and large number of people
knows the benefit ascertained by an organisation from the globalisation of their businesses.

globalisation has negative impact on construction labour market in different ways such as;
Reduction in labour market regulations, Activation of the unemployed, Increased responsiveness
of wage setting to supply/demand pressures and Reduction in tax wedges. All these are found as
a major impact that adversely impact on construction industry. Globalisation has direct impact
on construction labour market in UK by reduction in labour market legislations, maximised
responsiveness of wage setting, communication barrier etc. All these are major impact of
globalisation which will highly impact on labour market within United Kingdom. Therefore,
globalisation is essential process which will help entire labour market by providing job
opportunities, improving living standard etc.

about the UK construction labour market. By doing this investigation, I came to understand basic
phenomena of globalisation and its impact on construction industry. Along with this, I have
faced different issues such as improper behaviour of respondents, cost and time. All these are
major problems which will negatively effect on me while completion of investigation in
systematic manner. gathering accurate information about the impact of globalisation in
