INTRODUCTIONThe below report showcases the important aspects of organisational behaviour for goodperformance. It demonstrates the relevant importance of the aspect of an organisationalbehaviour in a workplace. Along with it, the report explores the recommendations for anorganisation's efficiency in context of Starbucks. It understands and appraises the importance ofa variety of behaviours and their theories and concepts within a workplace, and suggests theimportant solutions to the problems that occurs within a workplace with the application ofvarious organisational behaviour theories and concepts. The aim of this report is to identify theimportance of leadership and teamwork and how they impact the efficiency of an organisationand contribute in it. LEADERSHIP:Leadership is important for an organisation's growth. In Starbucks, it is one of the mostimportant functions of management that contributes in achieving organisational goals andmaximising efficiency. For an organisation such as Starbucks it is necessary to have a leader thatset goals, initiates action, motivates its team, provides proper guidance, creates confidence and awell co-ordinated work environment, builds morale, etc. A leader sets visions and goals andachieves them with the help of its team and management. He seeks to achieve perfection in theorganisation and ensures that everything is working as per his decisions and leadership skills. Itis important for a leader to have the necessary set of skills which while the performance of hisactions can bring required and satisfactory results. (Bedarkar and Pandita, 2014)The skills required for and effective leadership or and efficient leaderCommunication: Communication plays a vital role when its comes to the efficiency of a leader.A leader needs to determine the value of his employees and how the set environment is operatingunder his command. Having a good communication skill will help the leader to understand thewants and requirements of his team and what can be done do make the environment of anorganisation better and fair to achieve its goals and objectives. (Scott, Mannion et.al., 2018)1

Motivation: Motivation is another important aspect that makes a leader more inspiring andgrowth oriented. A leader when an organisation is lacking inspiration needs to motivate the team.He tends to find ways and incorporates them as well to make the organisations employees morecapable and potent as per the requirements of set goals and objectives.Delegation: It is important for a leader to understand the importance of delegating the tasks. Ifthe leader tries to do most of the tasks by himself then he might suffer with lack of capability andwork pressure as well. A good leader have good delegating skills in which he assigns the tasks tothe capable managers and employees.(Schyns, 2015)Creativity: It is important for a leader to be creative. The creativity skills of a leader will ensurethat the leader is able to find efficient approaches when something requires his attention. Alongwith it, the leader's creativity skills will make him find solutions with different aspects within anorganisation.Feedback: Feedback is necessary for any leadership to determine the value of a leader'scapabilities and what improvements might be needed in the future when the same approach isgoing to be used. With feedback a leader can constantly improve himself and along with him theorganisation will improve as well. Also, feedback helps the employees to respect their leader. Different leadership theories and concepts and its importance within Starbucks: Trait theory: The trait theory discusses a number of traits that leads to a successfulleadership. These traits are a good personality, maturity, initiative, flexibility, intellectualability, self-confidence, being responsible and having a willingness to accept the same,fairness in judgement etc.Later these traits and skills are further classified by Stogdill as adaptability, ambition,decision, energy, persistence, dominance, stress tolerance, social skills, etc.In trait theory, some specified traits such as the cognitive abilities, self-esteem, energyetc. are related to the behaviour of leadership yet the theory is observed as being faulty.
