INTRODUCTION
Effective communication is the process of exchanging thoughts, information and ideas
such that the purpose or the intention is to fulfill in the best possible manner. Effective
communication in the individual person helps them, to develop themselves as a professionally,
and they can make their carrier as a professional.
This report will analyze the purpose and principles of the different forms of
communication in the organization. It will also principles of effective communication to
enhance practices. In the end of this report will evaluate the communication practices of
themselves and others and it will also conclude recommendations.
Literature review
As per the (Gumkowska and Toczyski., 2016) effective communication is the process of
providing information to the other or taking the information by listening properly. In an
organization flow of effective communication is necessary because it helps the company to get
success in their business. There are different form of communication which can be used in the
organization to increase flow of communication. There are five forms of effective
organizational communication such as verbal communication in which individual provide
information by speaking, Non verbal in which include facial expressions, written
communication, listening – listening information properly and visual communication – showing
videos or providing information digitally.
As per the view of () various principles of communication is needed such as principle of clarity
where the message should be a clarity regarding information and also message spell is also
correct. There is also principle of feedback where feedback is vital from the receiver in order to
understand that the message is easily conveyed to them or not. Message or information must be
in complete form there is no adequacy as well as confusion created, also it must be on time as
delay messages cannot be vital for decision-making and at the same time receiver must be pay
attention while listing to them as every human has its own behavior,nature so there must be pay
attention fir effective communication

Effective communication plays necessary role in organization. It helps to create working
environment at the workplace of the company. There are various form's of organizational
communication which has purpose and Principle to get the clear and proper information. This
form can be used in the at the workplace of the company to increase productivity, and they
can take competitive advantages in the market where they are operating their business. Here are
forms of organizational communication -
Verbal communication
In the verbal communication 1 person provide information to the another person by
speaking or talking them face to face. This is every common form, which is used at the
workplace and more effective as compare to the other forms of organizational communication.
Non – verbal Communication
In the non- verbal communication we express our feelings or the information with other
without speaking words. Non-verbal communication includes facial expressions, posture, eye
contact, hand movements, and touch (Loučanová, Olšiaková and Dzian., 2018). For example, if
you’re engaged in a conversation with your boss about your cost-saving idea, it is important to
pay attention to both their words and their non-verbal communication.
Written communication
In this form we provide information by writing latter or the information on the paper.
Written communication is mostly used in the organization to provide clear information to the
employees.
Listening
Listening is the part of effective communication, we can understand the information
properly by listening to the person who are providing the information to us. This helps to
understand the message and information.

Visual communication
Visual communication is the best way to provide information to the other. In an
organizational meetings superiors of the company use the visual communication to provide
information about their plan and product etc.

Principal of clarity-Message should be clearly communicated as it should be spelt clearly. It
must be in a way to require to convey the same message that needs to convey through messenger.
There must be no ambivalence within the message. It must be keep within mind that words are
not speak themselves but at the same time speaker gives meaning to that words. It is also vital
that receiver must be conversant with language,mechanics of communications as well as inherent
assumptions.
Principles of attention- Every human being is different within their emotions, behaviour,
attention and many more. They may respond differently regarding message. The attention of the
receiver must be drawn towards message.
Principle of feedback- It is very vital to make the communication effective. There must be an
information from recipient to know regarding whether he or she understands the message or not.
Principles of constituency- It states that the communication must always be regular with
plans,polices,programmes as well as objectives of the firm, but at the same time it must not
creates conflict with them. If the communication as well as message must be within conflict
within programmes and policies then there must be no confusion and there must be no confusion
to occur.
Principles of timeline According to this principle communication must be done at a proper
time so that it aids within implementing plans. There must be no delay as it can not serve any
kind of the purpose. So timeline is vital.
Principle of Adequacy- The information must be communicated in complete sense of all
respects. Incomplete information delay the decision and also creates the confusion. Incomplete

So there is an adequate information that is vital for taking making actions plans and at the same
time taking proper decisions.
Principle of informality- Sometimes Formal information are not achieved the desired results as
Earlier they used to transmit messages as well as other information. Informal communication
proves to be effective within some situations. Management of firm uses informal communication
for analysing the reactions of the employees. So such type of the principal states that the
informal communication is a vital as formal communication.

Evaluate the communication practices
Plan and strategize-
It is necessary to assess the current plan of the company so that they can make the
necessary changes in the practice. This way strategies of practice will be formed on the basis of
attainment of goals so that objectives can be achieved.
Right tools for communication-
It is necessary that the company takes the use of right practice which are in right avenues.
It is necessary to comply with the tools such as cloud computing, group chats emails and
software that is useful for the company.
Dynamic and fun working environment-
Employees of the company thrive on opportunity so that they can fulfill their passion of
work. If the environment of company is fun and dynamic then employees of the company will
increase the level of engagement which will result in creativity.
Feedback and ideas can be shared-
This aspect of communication practice helps the employees to reach new heights so that
they can make the performance of the company better with them. It is necessary that ideas are

shared and expressed in front of each other so that they can assess it and come up to a decision
for it.
Information overload-
It is necessary to avoid the aspect of information overload because it leads to ignorance
of the messages that are delivered and many of those messages are vital for the business and can
enhance their operations (Mattioli, Lucas and Marsden, 2017).
Collaboration-
In order to assess the success of the communication practice it is necessary that
employees work together in collaboration specially employees who work in different
departments.
Information objective-
It is necessary that employees of the company makes sure that need to rely on
information but they need to make sure that need to achieve their goals on the basis of inspiration
so that they can work for the betterment of the team and the whole company.
RECOMMENDATIONS
In order to improve it is necessary that company understand the purpose and principles behind
the prospect of communication. They need to implement strategies of communication that are
effective so that they can enhance the practice. It is necessary to assess and evaluate the practices
of communication before making a decision. If these measures are taken by the company then
they will be able to work in coordination.
CONCLUSION
From the above studies it has been concluded that it is important that company focuses on the
area of communication to perform better in the market and serve to base of customers. It is
necessary that they have to focus on the area of improvement and match with the current trends
so that they can make it more effective and achieve their objectives. It will also develop the level
of engagement and coordination between the employees that are of different department.
