Effective communication is the process of exchanging thoughts, information and ideas
such that the purpose or the intention is to fulfill in the best possible manner. Effective
communication in the individual person helps them, to develop themselves as a professionally,
and they can make their carrier as a professional.
This report will analyze the purpose and principles of the different forms of
communication in the organization. It will also principles of effective communication to
enhance practices. In the end of this report will evaluate the communication practices of
themselves and others and it will also conclude recommendations.
Literature review
As per the (Gumkowska and Toczyski., 2016) effective communication is the process of
providing information to the other or taking the information by listening properly. In an
organization flow of effective communication is necessary because it helps the company to get
success in their business. There are different form of communication which can be used in the
organization to increase flow of communication. There are five forms of effective
organizational communication such as verbal communication in which individual provide
information by speaking, Non verbal in which include facial expressions, written
communication, listening – listening information properly and visual communication – showing
videos or providing information digitally.
As per the view of () various principles of communication is needed such as principle of clarity
where the message should be a clarity regarding information and also message spell is also
correct. There is also principle of feedback where feedback is vital from the receiver in order to
understand that the message is easily conveyed to them or not. Message or information must be
in complete form there is no adequacy as well as confusion created, also it must be on time as
delay messages cannot be vital for decision-making and at the same time receiver must be pay
attention while listing to them as every human has its own behavior,nature so there must be pay
