Objectives To assess the trend of globalization and its benefits associated with the retail business.To evaluate different factors that have impacts on the marketing functions of companies withrespect to globalization.To determine positive and the negative effect of global trade on the marketing function ofTesco.To recommend measures that could be taken by Tesco for overcoming challenges pertaining toeconomic, cultural and ethical aspect in relation to the marketing function. Background Globalisation means interactions of markets within the global world that leads to increasedinterconnectedness of national economies. The present study highlights the trends, effects and themeasures that need to be taken into account by an organization while operating its business on a globallevel. Moreover, the study also includes the details regarding the methodology that is been adopted bythe researcher for making the study more reliable and useful with appropriate application of the tools.
