Introduction
Communication is the act of conveying meanings from one entity or group to
another; therefore it is included that communication is considered an efficient strategy
for increasing the motivation in the workplace (Islami, Mulolli, & Mustafa, 2018). It is
because this leads in maintaining better environment in the organization, the estimation
describes that in the current year Australian organization use various communication
tools for management of resources and work in the organization (Chesley & Johnson,
2015). In this report, “Boosting workplace motivation through innovative communication
tools” topic is selected. Further, the discussion is made on analyzing the communication
tools used in the workplace. The report will also discuss its advantages and
disadvantages with the factors included in implementing the communication tools.
Communication tools
The studies revealed that for making the project successful and motivating or
retaining the employee’s organization can adopt social intranet, work management
tools, text messaging and software for tracking the issues (Intelligenthq, 2019). This is
because this can support the organization to share various important file, can
communicate in timely manner and delegated the assigned work in efficient manner.
The other is enabling performance management tools is also help the organization to
communicate and give feedback for boosting the performance of the employees and to
increase motivation in the workplace.
Researchers also reveal that communication tools in the organization involve
chat system, messaging through e-mail, voice mail, video and voice conferencing etc
(Oldham & Silva, 2015). The communications will also done through the social networks
which includes Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Yammer. This help in increasing the
capability of the employees to adopt the competitive environment. The advanced
innovation in the information and communication technology (ICT) also reduces the
stress level of the employees (Chesley & Johnson, 2015). The Americans gets productive
results because of adopting this and can manage work-life balance in efficient manner.
