INTRODUCTION Globalizationcanbetermedastheexpansionofgoodsandserviceswithinthe international market. It can be considered as a process by which business or other organization develop a international influence which promotes the operations on a large scale. The study will be based on the Globalization fop the Sainsbury's in UK market. This company is the third largest chain in the super market and now want to expand the business within new countries of the world. This research will help in producing a proper plan to evaluate the cost and expenses which will be incurred during the Globalisation of the business. This report will also provide a complete study which includes the aims, objectives and research questions. This study will completely focus towards meeting such objectives via Methodology and data analysis. AIMS: To assess the impact of economic, cultural and ethical implications on different functions of the Globalised business: A study on Sainburry's. Objectives To identify the cultural influence during development of the business in international market. To evaluate the economical and ethical challenges faced by the Sainsbury's within Global market. To investigate impact of Globalization in managing the successful growth of Sainsbury's. To recommend the ways in which the Sainsbury's can enhance the trade across the world. Research questions Ques-1 What are cultural barriers that influence the business in global market? Ques-2 What are the ethical and economical challenges faced by the company Ques-3 What are the impacts of the Globalization in meeting the main objectives of the firm? Ques-4 How company can overcome the challenges faced while developing a business within international market? ACTIVITY 1 Project Management Plan Project Management can be considered as a formal document which represents various aspects of the research. This includes controlling, monitoring and execution factors to carry out 1
the successful research such as Cost, scope, time, quality, communication, Risk and resources etc. Cost:In order to carry out the research to understand the impact of Globalisation, The cost will be one of the most important concern. The cost can be incurred by various means such as finding the Aims and objectives of the research (Pieterse, 2019). Also cost on tools and equipments that are required to record and analyse the data. Also, various miscellaneous expenses are incurred in travelling and thus it is added to the total cost of project. ParticularsCost Tools and Equipments for Recording the views$10000 Analysis and Reporting$2000 Travelling and Incentive cost of the research$3000 Total$15000 Scope:There is a huge scope of the project as it explores various facts and ideas about the impact of Globalisation. Publication of this research will help various companies to understand the impact of the Globalisation on the business function. Time:In order to carry out the complete research, there will be almost 5 to 8 Weeks are required which helps in understanding the point of views of many employees. Quality:This is concerned with the quality assurance while carry out the research(Gavril And et,al., 2017). Also researcher need to carry out the research considering a quality based material to produce the desired outcome. Communication:This is one of the important concern while carrying out the research as analyst need to be highly communicative so that it helps in recording proper data from the Participants. Resources:The resources includes the recording tools and equipments which allow the analyst to carry out the research effectively and efficiently also some participants are also required who will respond to the various question in order to identify the impact of the Globalization on different business functions. 2

ACTIVITY 2 Research Methodology ResearchMethodologyisasystematicapproachforconductingaresearch.A methodology can be defined as an activity which helps in describing the research methods, design and approaches in order to carry out the research. In order to carry out the research to determine the impact of the cultural, ethical and economical influence on the different business functions during the expansion of the organization within the global market. This research is carried out to determine the size of sampling and participants who will be involved in meeting the main objectives of the research(Epstein, 2018). Along with this this methodology helps in determining the data collection technique which allow the researcher to collect the data and information in order to access the impact of the Globalisation on various business function which may be influenced due to the varied culture, ethics and economies within different regions of the world. Research Design:The design of the research can be considered as a set of methods and procedures which are used in collecting and analysing the data and information. There are two types of research design that is exploratory and conclusive. Exploratory designis mainly used to explore the specific aspects of the research area. On the other hand,conclusive designgenerally helps in providing answers to specific aspects of the research area. In this research Exploratory design is approached in order to carry out the desired output in order to understand the impact of Globalization. Approach:It consists of the steps in terms of broad aspectswhich allows the researcher to collect the data, analysis and interpretation. Research approach can be categorised into 3 types that is Deductive, inductive and abductive approach. Inductive approachis mainly used to generate the untested conclusions of the study. Deductive approachis one of the most powerful approach which helps in generating true conclusions of the research.Abductive approachis used to generalise the interactions between specific(Rutovic, 2016). Therefore, The researcher has adopted inductive approach for this study in order to identify the impact of the cultural, economic and ethical influence on the business during the expansion of the organization in international market.Along with this, researcher has carried out the inductive approach as it helps in interpreting the data which will be helpful in meeting the aims and objectives of this study. 3
Research Philosophy:It can be considered as a belief in which data can be gathered , analysed and used(Bozyk, 2019). The research philosophy is mainly divided into three types that is interpretivism, positivism and pragmatism. Interpretivism Philosophyallows the researcher to interpret the data via small samples in depth also it helps in performing the qualitative investigation.Positivism philosophyis a highly structured sampling which involves huge data. Pragmantism Philosophy allows in using combination of both qualitative as well as quantitative researches. In this study, Interpretivism approach is used to carry out the research which helps in performing the qualitative research. Data sampling:It can be used to select the targetted participants which contribute towards the collection of the data. Generally two types of sampling methods such as probabilistic and non- probabilistic. Inprobability samplingall the participants are involving in answering for such interview questions(Noe And et.al., 2017). Whereas, innon Probabilistic, sampling group members are generally selected on random basis. In this research Probabilistic method is approached in which the sampling is 20 employees from the fashion industry. In order to carry out this research, random data sampling technique was adopted in order to collect the data and information from various employees who work in the big international brands. ACTIVITY 3 Data analysis Data analysis can be defined as a process of analysing, inspecting and transforming the data in order to discover the useful information which helps in supporting the decision making (Crane and et.al., 2019). In order to carry out the research on Globalisation, total 20 employees were were randomly selected and interview questions were circulated and data was collected by from those participants. Among them there were least number of employee who has disagreed and there was one employee who was little confused about the question and therefore nor answered yes and neither answered No on towards this statement. This study has created a complete understanding about the influence of the Globalisation on the different functions of the business and therefore it may be turn into the failure of the business organization. This research has also determined various data collection and analysing techniques which helped in collecting the different perceptions and point of views of the people. In addition this research has been carried out to achieve the main objectives of the report. Therefore, various data and perception of the 20 random employees has been selected in order to identify the factors which results in the success and failure of the organization during the expansion of the organization into the international market. Recommendation It has been Noticed that different countries follow varied cultures and ethics which directly impacts on the lifestyle of the people who are living within the regions in which the company is going to expand. So here are some recommendation and suggestions to improve the research and also determine the factor s which lead to the success within the Globalised market, such as: In order to improve the research and data collection method, analyst should expand the number of respondents. It helps in collecting huge data which will be helpful in identifying the actual answers of the people randomly. In order to increase the accuracy within the collected data, Researcher should collect the samples from different organizations. It helps in determining approximately correct answers. The research should be consisted of the specific questions about the impact of the business functions, so it would be much more benefited. For the Recommendations regarding the sustainability, success and growth of the business duringthedevelopmentoftheorganizationwithintheinternationalmarketincludesthe following: 10
Manager should create the effective marketing strategy in order to sustain in the highly competitive market. Organization should also consider the cultural and ethical aspects of the country so that it will help in determining the needs and requirements of the people in the specific market. Reflection From the above research analysis, I have identified various aspects that needs to be considered while expansion of the business within international market. Also, I get to know about different types of data collection and analysing methods which helps me to understand the main aim and objectives of the research. It also helps me in to understand the impact of the Globalisation on the internal functions of the business such as operations, sales, marketing etc. 11
