INTRODUCTION
Workplace refer to the place where the organizations work. Organizational structure is one of the
major aspect in the development of the results to achieve as this help the business in creating a
better performance at workplace and also develop the increased performance through culture
motivation (Driskill, 2018). There are crucial elements of the culture which help in increased
performance. The report will explain the organizational structure and its relationship with the
performance management. The organizational Culter and the relationship with performance
management will be discussed in the report further to evaluate the importance of organization.
MAIN BODY.
Organizational Structure : - Organizational structure refer to the system that provide the
outline of the activities which are done to achieve the business objective and goals. These are the
activities which include the responsibility, roles and rules of the workplace in industry. The
organizational structure also refer to the process which determine the flow of process and
information between the level of company. Every organization use s different style of working in
there process and use different structure at workplace. It is important for the business to develop
a handling of structure so that they can develop a better performance at workplace (Bichler,
Malm and Cooper, 2017).
Type of Structure : -
Functional structure : - Functional structure refer to the process of dividing the groups of the
organization according to the skills and functions. This is also known as the bureaucratic
organizational structure which commonly based on the company specialization and the
workforce. The function includes the marketing departments have a separate team, the finance
have separate team.
Divisional structure : — Divisional structure of the organization structure refer to the process
where the organization follows the division of working according to their products in the market.
There are many big firms which are using the division structure to develop a business. This
includes the leadership of the organization on the basis of their product, subsidiaries, projects etc.
the company works in structure itself so that the company can operate itself and have a separate
president of their own (Valaei, 2017).
