The company used in this report is Watson Engineering which deals in metal prototype and production parts of various industries. The company was set up in early 1980 by a young entrepreneur. This company provides metal prototype and manufacture production parts for various industries. This company also specialize in making CNC machine components, robotic welding, bent, tubular products, CNC press break, powder quoting, torrent punching, lesser cutting, turret punching, stamping and assembling. This company serves its services in United States while providing most respected brands in the worlds. It provides assurance of quality, value and technical expertise in its services. This company has mission of “committed to satisfying every customer’s need by exceeding their expectation”. In the recent years company has opened various offices, warehouse and manufacturing facilities. Operational management strategies of this company are discussed along with the collaboration of operational department with other departments such as production, manufacturing, financial, human resource, marketing etc. This report includes the importance of operational management, its implementation and benefits of implementing these strategies. In this report, introduction of company along with its operational strategies are discussed. Apart from that, future recommendations for the company are also explained by which it can survive itself in the competitive market. MAIN BODY Operations management strategy is used to increase the business in the competitive market. By using this strategy a business can survive itself in the competitive market which will help them to increase their efficiency and productivity (Kalpakjian, 2014).
