INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development refers to goals, strategies and plans as well as
policies which are made by company's managers for the development of organisation. Personal
development helps in enhancing the skills and knowledge of an employee which are necessary
for the business development. The self-management learning’s main objective is to identify
different techniques and technologies that create a long lasting effect on the professional work of
an individual. Premier Inn is the largest hotel which is situated in United Kingdom. It has more
than approx. 65,000 rooms and 700 hotels. The hotel was found by Whitbread in 1987 and it is
operated in many other cities (Avalos, 2011). The Premier Inn hotel purchased 11 other big
brand hotels in England and Wales.
The purpose of this report is to analyse different learning approach and also, identify
development process which directly impact on the profit volume and its benefits. The basic
objective of learning approaches is to evaluate the strategies which help to analyse the plans that
examine personal and professional development. Study of this report is important to examine
the opportunities of both development.

An individual could learn and acquire knowledge from various techniques and equipment
which help to identify the research project which gives to the students and they needs current and
past data information to analyse the learning style . There are many other ways which evaluate
online learning and identify different strategies that plan to achieve the goals and objectives. The
lifelong learning motivates and encourages the person and help to develop the self-education
which creates direct impact. There are some ways which are helpful to the Premier Inn:
 Visionary Approach- The visionary approach is based on long term vision and
individual has to make plans in advance that gives accurate direction.
 Strategic approach- Strategic approach helps to develop plans to an individual then they
try to deal with all problems in an effective manner.
 Conference and seminars- An individual can learn skills and get some knowledge by
attending seminars (Kenner and Weinerman, 2011). It is an effective technique that helps
to earn knowledge and share the skills and learning by communicating with others.

change the response and reaction in different situations.

employees learning skill. The manager should focus on their workers performance in an effective
manner. The mainly used method is combination style in which manager use different techniques

objectives within organisation. The social networking includes Facebook, Instagram,
twitter and Myspace, etc. that help to learn new things to the people. The research analyse
helps to the person who spend their lots of time on the social sites to share their views,

knowledge that help at the workplace to perform in a better way.
3. Interviews- An interview is the process in which one person asks question and another
gives answer. It helps to identify the skill and knowledge of an employee.
4. Training- It helps to gain skills and knowledge of an individual that improves the
performance. A trainer teach the trainee to know the new technology.
5. Coaching- It means to improves the skill and knowledge and learn new things to develop
experience in an individual.

an accurate solution at right time to resolve all conflicts and problems. Some problems in an
organisation affect different levels of communication (Leite, Svinicki and Shi, 2010).
Communication plays an important role to develop the growth and functioning of company's
management smoothly.
Proper communication is necessary to share information and views effectually in an
Premier Inn hotel. There are some issues in Premier Inn hotel that are discussed under:
 Collaborative working- There are lack of coordination and cooperative in company that
increase the cost level. It helps to solve the resource problem in an effective manner.
The collaborative working increase the employees ability and capabilities in an effective
and efficient manner. There are many rules and regulations that hide the person ability in
a proper way.
Solution- In Premier Inn hotel, there are various solutions that help to resolve major
issue. The resources can increase the level of production. There are some methods that is used:
 Decrease conflicts of organisation structure- There are major conflicts between an
employees which reduce production level. The hierarchy structure creates confusion in
the mind of the workers.
 Team building and working- An employee should work together to achieve goals in an
effective manner. This method of learning provides skills and knowledge which helps to
gain experience.

channel that helps to provide accurate information to their employees in an effective
manner. It develop enhance skills and experience.

Premier Inn hotel’s main objective is to implement strategies with good communication
skill within an organisation. Company needs to identify the selected issues that help to develop
growth and recognise solution of problems. The research and development methods help to
analyse the staff’s reaction that manage data and information. . There are some learning styles
that helps to identify problems and issues in the company. An employee can learn skills and
knowledge with the managers different learning styles. The aim of the manager is to change the
current scenario and adopt new changes in the company. The new learning styles are depends
on logical, verbal and solitary. It helps to adopt different learning styles that works in an
organisation.
There are communication channels that helps to provides accurate information to the top
management. It is used to organise different levels of organisation. The company has to ensures
that they will use strong communication channels. For example, The operational level manager
use the correct information and gives instructions which controls communication. In functional
level, the manager manage the activities that are works in the company and the strategic level

strategies and plans. It can set time to work on a particular task and manage meetings and
