Job opening
We require a budding professional educator who possesses at minimum a certificate III level
qualification in early childhood education, has great command over the English language and has
excellent verbal and written communication. The candidate must also possess a current working
with children check for paid employment and be thoroughly dedicated to developing the children
under him or her in the most holistic manner possible.

Task 2
The two questions which will be asked from the potential candidates available for selection are
listed herein along with the expected response from the candidate for the chosen vacant position
of a certificate III qualified early childhood educator.
Question 1 – Do you have experience in working with early year’s child group? If so then what
is your greatest strength as a childcare educator?
Expected response – Yes I do possess a holistic and detailed experience in working with
students belonging to this age group as in my previous job as an educator, I primarily taught
toddlers between the ages of 3 to 5. My biggest strength as a childcare educator has to be my
excellent communication skills which help me to capture the attention of toddlers for an
extended period of time which can be quite a difficult task even for veteran educators to manage.
Question 2 – How do you feel about working on a team? Give some example of your team work
skills.
Expected response – I feel quite confident about working on a team as I am quite productive
worker and gel well with others and I am a team player through and through and am proficient in
working in tandem with others as for achieving organizational goals. During my previous stint at
an education centre for children, I worked with other educators to build a comprehensive al
around developmental syllabus and activity schedule for children which yielded positive results.
