INTRODUCTIONLeadership can be defined as the process of leading a team in which various members areworking for the accomplishment of a common goal. In order to complete all the tasks on time itis very important for leaders to make sure that they are guiding all the subordinates inappropriate manner (Aritz and Walker, 2014). Organisation which is selected for this report isKellogg's which is a food manufacturing company and operating business all around the world.This assignment is based upon analysis of different leadership styles and suggestions regardingthe ways in which improvements could be made in them are covered under this project.MAIN BODYAnalysis of leadership styleIn order to make sure that the goals which are related to different tasks allotted to staffmembers are achieved or not it is very important for leaders to make sure that they are guidingemployees properly. For this purpose they are required to follow appropriate leadership stylewhich can help them supervise all the subordinates effectively (Claxton and Sarti, 2014). Thereare various types of it which could be adopted by the leaders in Kellogg's to attain long termbusiness objectives. These are autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire etc. from all of them leadersin the organisation follow democratic leadership style. It is analysed below in detail:Democratic leadership: It is also called participative leadership because leaders ask thestaff members to take part in decision making process and provide opinion on them so thathighly effective strategies for future development could be formed. It is based upon free flow ofideas and collaboration because it can help to find best suitable ways to accomplish critical taskseasily (Herrmann and Felfe, 2014). In order to reach all the business goals successfully withhighly motivated staff members, Kellogg's uses this leadership style because it helps to provideopportunity to workers to share their ideas for improvement to leaders. With the help of itdecisions could be made quickly which helps to execute the plans as soon as possible. It is alsobeneficial for the formulation of effective strategies. Morale of employees could be increased asthey will have the right to take part in the process of forming decisions. It provides freedom toall the staff members to contribute in decision making process of organisation. This style of leadership guide leaders in Kellogg's collaborate with staff members andcreate free flow of ideas so that highly effective decisions could be formulated for betterment of1
