Task:-Identifying and developing a proposal of e-commerce opportunity for Apparel Brands.
Value proposition: What will you offer consumers? What products? What price? What
quality? How will the products benefit your customers?
The consumers are provided with an opportunity to design their own online custom T-shirts.
Price is $250 and is of great quality. Custom T-shirts will benefit the customers as they are eye-
catching and in trend. There is no paperwork required and also there is no need for filing for the
company.
Who your target market is: What are the characteristics of the people who will buy your
products? What do they need or desire?
The people who will buy the custom T-shirts are the customers and, on their request, our
company has decided to make the website to design their own T-shirts.
How will you gather necessary information for setting up the venture?
All the required and necessary information is gathered via asking the customer about their needs
and the internet.
How will you consult or network with to benefit from others’ expertise?
We will consult via emails, messages, phone-calls, direct face to face interactions with different
expertise.
What steps will you need to take to set up the e-commerce venture? This will range from
website design to ensuring the system for payment, to establishing an online presence
through web search engine, etc.
To set up the e-commerce venture firstly domain name for the website will be selected along
with a platform (Woodcock, 2017). Secondly, the website will be designed accordingly and the
payment system will be ensured which can be via credit/debit cards and other methods. Thirdly,

the products will be added to the website that is available in the store. Finally, an online
presence will be established with the help of the web search engines provided.
How will you determine the benefit to Apparel Brands: What is the benefit? Reduced
costs? Increased productivity?
The productivity will increase for the Apparel Brands and they will help in gathering more
market for their products and the customers who are wearing the T-shirts will act as free
ambassadors for their brands (Maruping & Magni, 2015).
How will you determine cost?
In 4 steps determination of the cost can be done, these steps are:
1. Calculating hourly overhead cost, hourly wage, hourly rate.
2. Calculating time for producing single T-shirt.
3. Calculating total material cost and adding contingencies.
4. Total cost price will be calculated.

The workplace is the place where the productive work is carried out by the employees for the
employer (Bens, 2017). For Apparel Brands Pty Ltd, the workplaces a great place to work where
all the employees are all time engaged and the workplace environment is very friendly and
supportive. There are individual development plans developed for all the employees and
employee participation is encouraged.

3. Prepare to work with your team and complete the following:
a) For team effectiveness, many individuals are consulted within the Apparel Brands Pty
Ltd. and the mission and vision statements are taken into consideration. The clear,
concise, and effective objectives are written which are the steps to achieve the vision and
mission of the organization.
b) The key performance indicators are considered for identifying the critical and specific
areas and level of performance required. The outcome of these indicators will result in
improved team performance along with individual team member performance.
c) Team goals are to develop the website for the Apparel Brands Pty Ltd. and the goal is
achieved with the help of the efficient team members within the given timeframe. The
particular tasks are provided to the members who have expertise in that particular subject
and therefore team goals were achieved in time.
d) Strategies include the types of decision are made, availability of the resources and time
needed to deal with the decisions made. These strategies are used for gaining consensus
in the team so that the work is completed in time.
e) Throughout the project processing and implementing the plans, the whole team and group
was very supportive and has interestingly taken part in all the activities that were done in
accordance with the goals that were written.
f) The third-party report is reviewed and the group is familiar with the team performance
expectations.
g) The complete notes are taken as an evidence of the team meetings.
