This assessment is to be completed using the case study as simulated work environment. This
assessment task requires the student to develop a Corporate Social Responsibility Policy using the
case study provided and a Corporate Social Responsibility Review of an organisation he or she is
familiar with.

For your performance to be deemed satisfactory in this assessment task, you must satisfactorily

Assessment Task 2 – Written Report and Role Play Review
This assessment task requires you to lead corporate social responsibility (CSR) at a respected
organisation by considering two different areas or opportunities (such as environmental responsibility,
ethical responsibility, philanthropic responsibility or economic responsibility). To do this, you will work
as a team with relevant stakeholders to establish CSR Objectives and a CSR Policy and then integrate it
into the organisation’s systems, processes and procedures.

Part A – Establish Corporate Social Responsibility
In this task, you need to create a draft Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy using the case study
and template provided. In your CSR Policy, you need to detail the following:
1. Describe the context of the organisation by qualifying and quantifying the drivers for CSR.
2. List the current benefits of, and barriers to, the two (2) CSR areas for the organisation.
3. List the legislation, regulation, standards and organisational policy affecting CSR analysis of the two
(2) areas in relation to the organisation.
4. List future opportunities for CSR practices for the organisation.
5. List the key stakeholders for organisational CSR.
6. Describe the strategies to engage with stakeholders to develop CSR objectives and policy.
7. Describe change management provisions for CSR strategy of the two 2) areas for the organisation.
8. Describe how to incorporate CSR strategy for the two (2) areas into required organisational
systems, procedures and processes.
9. Describe the procedures to be used in preparing and distributing documentation regarding CSR
strategy for the two (2) areas.

productivity. Here are some drives of CSR as follows.
Globalization
Globalization is the drive of CSR. The consequence of a
crisscross-border and global supply chain is increased
awareness of CSR and concern related to HR practices.
Company trade flow at the global level. They focus on the
environment to protect the health and safety of humans.
Corporates engage in meaningful or regular stakeholder be in
a better position to respond economically, socially, and
environment.
International legal instrument and guideline
The guideline of the international instrument set some
standards which are essential for every organization. This
standard is very important for customers because this
guideline is the authentic standard and purchase their
product.
The global compact is a framework issued by the UN. This
framework is used for businesses that are committed to
business operations and strategies. The framework is align
operations and strategies and support the core values in the
area of human right.
Altering public expectations corporate brand organizations
produce their product global. They are making an expected
product which is needed by the people. Global companies are
madly providing jobs and contributing economy through taxes
and employment. This has increased expectations that will be
more open more able and prepared in their performance and
environmental arenas.
