INTRODUCTION
To grow the business successfully in intense competitive world leaders plays vital role in
an organization. Company having good leaders helps them to gain competitive advantages
against rivalry. Leadership is about developing people and assisting others to reach out to their
complete potential. Change management is refers to as tools that are used to mange people side
of change so as to accomplish business outcomes (Abbasi, 2017). This report is based on
Sungard Availability Services this is a provider of IT production as well as recovery services.
This sucessfuly IT firm came into existence in the year 1978 and is located in Wayne,
Pennsylvania, USA. To meet the emerging needs of the customers eight hundred fifty staff are
working day and night. Organization allows to formulate unique solutions which power
enterprises, staff members and consumers on daily basis. In this assignment company is planning
to bring new change in the IT system in three months. Various models are used to understand the
management of change. Along wit this effective plan is designed in order to mange a particular
change.
Executive Summary:
In this report Sungard Availability Services and is a IT production and recovery services
is planning to change it's IT system in the three months. The up-gradation in system is done so in
order to achieve productive results. Administration by using outdated information technology
(IT) unable to gain competitive advantages against competitors which is a negative aspect for the
firm. Up-gradation or modification is done in information technology in order to render quality
services to the customers. To bring successful implementation in IT system various models are
used by the company. Lewis change model and Kotter's model is used properly as per the
business demand. Along with this strategies are designed to bringing modification in It system in
three months. However, a plan is prepared in order to appropriately particular change in the
organization (Singh, 2018.).

Organization adopts various change management model in their working premises so that
IT system can be up-lifted gradually. Sungard Availability Services render numerous products

services, disaster recovery, managed services and so on (Attah and Isaac, 2017). Modification is
essential in the system in order to provide accurate findings to the customers. This model is
quite effective in bringing change in information technology. Administration which adopts
change will thrive whereas, those who do not will fight to survive. Lewin's change management
model is developed by Kurt Lewin in the year 1940. It is divided into three parts Unfreeze,
Change and Refreeze. This are explained as under:

necessary (Lewin's Change model. 2018). By doing so proper strategies can be formulated so

company. It is very important to make co-workers adaptable to the change carried out in
information technology system. However, in this particular case change is actually executed at

and disadvantages regarding the change is clear in the mind of the employees by this the process
of execution of change in the working place become easy and smooth. Those organization who
easily adopt change in the the firm as soon as possible their chances of growth and flourishment

Forcefield analysis: Kurt Lewin in 1940 has created this model. It is widely used in the
business for making communication go decisions. It is condition which is mentioned by an

Services follow this model in their working premises so that competitive advantages can be
gained as compare to rivalry. There are various steps behind forcefield analysis that are
explained as under:
