organisation for achieving business pre determined goal. This report is based upon Dwell
company, a UK based medium size company which deals in furnitures. Moreover, this study
covers overview of chosen company along with their hierarchy of management, importance of
communication for leadership and management. The different globalisation driving forces and
their effect over organisation as well as comparison of leadership and management style.

million. In present scenario of competitive world, medium size business are regarded as one of
the fastest growing industry in UK economy as it provide enormous employment opportunities
that enhances life standard of communities or societies. In regard of Dwell company, a leading
medium size company which is founded in the year of 2002. Its headquarter in London, UK and
it offers home accessories and furniture products across the UK (Canals, 2014). It produce varies
range of products like armchairs, sofas, desks, dressing table, mattresses etc. with a better and
high quality of products which help them to gain high level of satisfaction from customers. Apart
from this, each and every firm contains several functional unit which are interconnected with
each other and they directly contribute towards organisational goal. Some of the functional areas
of Dwell company are as follows:
Management: Under this, Dwell's managers primary role is to supervise or manage
employee performance in order to achieve pre determined goal. Some of the management
