The act outlawed discrimination on the basis of ground of colour, ethnic ornational origins and race etc. at workn places. Minimum wages act 1948 sets the avergae wages that must be paid to skilled and nonskilled labours. It is essential for employers as to provide minimum wages and salaries totheir employees.
