INTRODUCTIONRecruitment is a stepwise process of hiring employees which includes scheduling,attracting, short-listing, selection, induction of best qualified candidate from a large group ofpeople. This collective approach helps in finding desired candidate required for job role ofdescribed job. This report is focussed on challenges faced by Human Resource Management ofUnited Parcel Service and measures to overcome it(Bush and Middlewood, 2013). Companymust plan in effectual way in dealing with problem which have aroused due to mass resignationof different level of employees. This assignment put limelight on on different aspect a managerneed to considers in recruitment and selection process process for employees. This assessmenthave classified different types of leadership style and the type of impact and influence onworking and organisational structure. After analysing different prospect of Human resourceManagement of United Parcel Service few suggestions are also being put up to improve andenhance effectiveness of organisation. TASK 11.1 Documents require to selecting and recruitment of new staff members Documentation is considered as one of the critical aspect on recruitment and selectionprocess. It helps in better all round analysis of employee considering different factors andproviding systematic and transparency approach in hiring process(Grint and Holt, 2011). Itevaluates potential and capability of an employee with respect to the job they have applied for inthe organisation. Documentation give privileges to a manager in also analysing their personaldetails like family background, criminal record fraud any unethical conduct. Sources of recruitment : Recruitment process can hire desired candidate for job role frominternal and external sources. Internal sources includes promotion of lower level of employee tohigher level and external sources involved recruitment and selection forces through walking andpool campus. Documentations are mainly required for external sources and for new staffmembers Factors included in selection process :Job specification: It included different factors like tasks, objectives, qualification andjob role needed for job role(Lev, 2013).1

Person Specification : It must suit job description like personality,communication,intellectual knowledge and creativity. Curriculum Vitae: It contains summered description of personal retails required indescription process. Medical health: It must be included wire hiring a medically unfit person is an liability toan organisation. So medical health and mental ability must be considered in hiring ofcandidates Legal – Documentations also includes legal factors observing conduct of a person in anorganisation(Mayfield,2014).. These are some of the important component which are to be considered in documentationprocess of an organisation.1.2 Outcomes of ethical consideration,legal and regulatory United Parcel Services use several factors while conducting hiring and recruitmentprocesses. Legal : In selection of candidates it is important to judge people on the basic of theirability, latent and potential instead of judgement on the base of race, caste, creed. Forminimising this ill practice in hiring process UK government have laid down differentlaws policies and guidelines, Labour law in UK used to regulate relationship betweentrade union, workers and employees and la y down guidelines for different prospectivesof hiring(Mayfield, 2011).. Ethical: In recent past they have terminated CEO and other senior employee in unethicalmanner which result in mass resignations of senior employees in protests. It is importantto formulate and deliver some corrective measures to increase stability in an organisation.Issues in relation with diversification: For diversification of organisation a mangermust be able to analyse different prospects in new business environment.Regulatory authority: There are certain bodies of government which have enacteddifferent laws for providing guidelines and policies for business process and tradingpractices. There are different governing bodies like General Council of Bar, Law Societyof Northern Island, Law society of Scotland, Faculty of Advocates.Laws of Government of UK governing and guiding hiring process 2
