INTRODUCTION
Managing and leading organisation effectively is a very vital component where the
organizations are facing the fast and rapid change in their business environment. Managing and
leading a both used at the same place when we talk about organisation but there is a difference
leading an organisation is basically accomplishment of the objectives bye by casting the vision
and motivating the dream through encouragement and inspiration which is the role of the leader
of the company. Is managing an organisation is the part of the manager or the administrator of
the organisation that it manages the daily task and activities of the organisation for the smooth
functioning and to contribute in the mission and vision of the organisation. In the international
business organisation the work force is diverse for managing the diversifying workforce is has
also become a new part in managing and leading organisation (Klingner, 2018) . Present report is
on Sainsbury a second largest supermarket chain of UK. Report will outline the importance of
managing with diversify and staff business organisation along with the challenges faced by the
Sainsbury in managing the diversity among their employees. The report also outlines Taylorism
theory and its characteristics and drawbacks .

Importance of managing the diversity in the staff of the organisation
Diversity in the staff refers to the variety of differences between the staff of an organisation
in terms of race gender sex citizenship culture belief physical conditions and many more factors
that make one Employee distinct from another. Sainsbury is one of the topmost supermarket
chains of the UK that believes in cultivating the most diverse and inclusive workforce for which
it is very important for the organisation to manage the diversity in their staff (Fine, Sojo and
LawfordSmith2020). The importance of managing the diversity in the workforce in context of
Sainsbury's is discussed below:
To avoid conflicts: one of the major reason for why it is important to manage the diversity in
workforce is to avoid any kind of conflict which can lead to a major issue within an organisation.
Diversity means the various forms of culture and beliefs of the employees which means there are
the different opinions of the impulse therefore which can cause reasons of disagreement
