INTRODUCTION
It is essential for an organisation to have a good team of employees in order to achieve
set goals and objectives. The below report showcases the effectiveness of team management
within Apparel Brands. Apparel Brands is an Australian based distributor and manufacturer of
footwear and clothing. The organisation was founded in 1901. It takes orders from suppliers
retailers and retailers on the clothing products which are manufactured from the specifications of
retailers. In order to ensure its required growth and development the company has embarked
itself on a bold new strategic direction. The report explores various factors directed towards
these strategic developments. These factors include value proposition, target market, required
information to set up the venture and required consultations and networks etc. The report
develops brief analysis and planning as in what terms the company can successfully set-up its e-
commerce venture. Along with it, the report puts light on the steps which needs to be taken in
order to set up the e-commerce venture. Later, the performance plan has initiated for the team
and its requirements has been explored (Zhang, Li and van Dick, 2015). At last, the report
concludes the overall understanding and evaluation made in it and what recommendations the
organisation need to improve its efficiency.

The customers will be offered by all qualities and standards of footwear's and clothings.
These products will be produced with the best quality of raw materials. The products will be
produced and sold to all class of consumers available in the market. The chosen products are
footwear's of all categories including shoes, floaters, slippers for both of the genders and every
age category such as kids, men's, women's. Other products include clothings where the company
will provide all set of clothings for both of the genders. Also, all the ages will be provided with
the different types of clothings including shirts, t-shirts, trousers, etc. The quality of the products
would be high-class as Apparel Brands wants to earn good reputation in the market. These
products will benefit the consumer in different ways as firstly, it would help the consumers in
easy buying options and they do not have to go to stores again and again for their purchases.
Also, it is going to provide them with the best quality products at their doorsteps easily, which
will save their time and effort both (Noe, Hollenbeck, and Wright, 2017).

The target market of the Apparel Brand is consumer of all ages and classes. The reason
behind choosing such target market includes as being an e-commerce platform it is easy for the
company to provide a good set of products and services on its platform. Also, it is easy to
produce footwear and clothing for people of different ages, genders at the same time. The
characteristics of the people includes earning good salaries, understanding trends, usage of social
media etc. Also, the people of all classes and genders which makes use of Internet are targeted in
order to successfully make people aware of the company's arrival in e-commerce.
The needs and desires of these customers include having strong attraction towards good
clothing and footwear. They also have a good sense of fashion and styling themselves. Along
with it, they understand and adapt according to the trends and make their choices accordingly.

 Being Attentive: The management was attentive towards evaluating and analysing the
importance of communication and in what ways its is happening within the organisation.
This made the successful implementation of communication process and made things
easy (Guchait, Lei, and Tews, 2016).
c. Evaluation and Rationale
1. Group behaviour: In order to understand the group behaviour to build a team
cohesion important strategies were chosen. These strategies were chosen as per
the understandings of the team and its workings. Group behaviour was carefully
analysed by methods such as team cooperation, time management, achievement of
tasks etc. These behaviours were analysed and were later put into work by the
management to ensure there are no pitfalls and drawbacks.
2. Goal achievement: In order to ensure proper achievement of the goals and
objectives the team members were delegated with the tasks as per their set of
skills and knowledge. This ensured that there are none of the discrepancies left
where team members are suffering from work stress and are not able to achieve
desired goals and objectives. Also, they were provided with proper mentoring,
coaching and training after understanding at what places they are lacking
improvements.
3. Resolutions: The resolutions were made after analysing the issues and their
occurrences. To make proper resolutions, the team was provided with meetings,
one to one communication, sharing their views etc. This made the team to

understand the importance of each and everyone's views and issues etc. Later the
required solutions were made and things were clearly set on course to be solved
effectively (Gorman, D’Mello and Burke, 2018).
The above points explain in what ways the evaluation of team performance was done by
the management and the rationale behind it as well.
d. Corrective actions taken in order to ensure team goals are being achieved
In order to ensure that team goals are being achieved properly a considerable amount of
actions were taken. The team was made to properly plan and execute their tasks on a daily basis.
This made them achieve proper scheduling and allowed them to be more attentive towards their
achievements. Also, this helped the team to prioritise their tasks and ensure that the important
tasks are being done first.
In the later stages the team was made to communicate effectively. In order to ensure
proper communication, people were made to speak to the each other and the teams leaders. This
ensured that the team members are having strong communication going on and there is a strong
unity between the entire team. Activities such as stage speaking and group discussions were held
in order to achieve and maintain strong communication between the team.
To ensure that the team makes proper decisions, the members of the team were taught
with good decision-making skills. These trainings were provided by the organisations managers
and leaders to ensure that each and every member of the group is having strong decision making
skills. Good decision making allowed the team to make decisions in order to achieve desired
tasks and goals. Also, it helped them to understand and evaluate the environment in which they
are working into and most importantly provided them with enough freedom to ask questions.
Better decision making allowed the team and its members to achieve better cooperation and work
towards their goals properly.
These actions ensured that the team is properly set and engaged in achieving its desired
goals and objectives (Tu, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above study it had been concluded that the lead and management has important
for maintaining disciple in organisation. Report had been cover by value proposition of quality
raw material and also company target to market according to age and classes. That helped for

providing better services to customers. Information has necessary for set up new venture. By this
company able to lunching new venture at market. Networking has important part of every
organisation and that helped to set up new E-commerce venture. Meeting has the specific agenda
for organising and solving problems. Report has mentioned by process and steps communication.
In that also discussed on the present achievement of team work and issues which have to solve
by organisation. Question helped to encourage the employee for attending meetings. Model
played important role to build effective team and identification of problem has important to solve
every problems which happened in team. Some solved in meeting and some in group work.
Whole report presented manage and lead team effectively and it has important for achieving goal
