INTRODUCTIONIt is very important for organisation to manage their work in business in order to achievegoal and objectives (Wardrop and et. al., 2016). Each and every work should be managed inproper manner so that better results can be achieved. While managing work, problems may arisewhich can be improved through personal development. The individual has to prepare variouswork for organisational and self goal. The assignment is divided into two parts where first isbased on knowledge evidence and second on personal development portfolio. This report isprepared on basis of CoffeeVille restaurant which provided various products and services. Theassignment covers personal work goals, meeting own work priorities, maintaining work lifebalance, professional competence and participating in network. 3) Two work methods and practices that can improve personal performance and competencyThe two work methods and practices that can improve personal and competency are asfollows:On the job Training- The employees working in organisation should be provided withtraining for improving themselves (Pina and et. al., 2017).Classroom Training- In this training, case study session is conducted in order toimprove performance and competency of individuals. 4) Four essential elements of a personal development plan toolThe four essential elements of a personal development plan tool are as follows:Self Discovery- It means to understand in depth about own needs, purpose, character. Development Plan- This means turning dreams into action plan for better life.Evaluation- This is the process of reviewing actual results and comparing againstdevelopment plan.Continuous Development- The development should be done on continuous basis so thatgoal of life can be achieved. 5) Two techniques in relation to personal goal settingThe two techniques in relation to personal goal setting are:Prioritising Goals- The goal should be made on basis of priority so that better results canbe achieved.SMART Objectives- The objectives should be specific measurable attainable realisticand targeted. 6) Two basic principles of time managementThe two basic principles of time management are:Setting Started- It is important to set time for each and every work.
