outcomes. In this aspect, every business develop their effectiveness through involve planning,
organising, managing, controlling on the manufacturing processes. In this aspect, effectiveness
will be developed in successful way to increase profitability and productivity as well (Patel,
Guedes and Pearce II, 2017). Further, it is also important to look towards the new program
through operations will be undertaken on the basis of creativity. In this consideration, present
report based on the Metcalfe's food business and Amazon. Metcalfe's is food business which
considered different food products in several areas of UK. In addition to this, another Amazon is
online shopping website that provides precious kinds of goods and services through online
method (Valta, Kosanovic and Loizidou, 2015).
In respect to gain insight information towards the present report, it includes roles and
characteristics of leader and manager in the selected business. Furthermore, it covers theories
and models of the leadership program that helps to determines systematic functions at workplace.
Moreover, importance and value of operations management included that play important role in
success of the organisation. At last, factors explained which impact on Amazon to operate
systematic work performances.

Leader is a person in Metcalfe's who set new directions and vision to accomplish
objectives and goals at workplace. In this consideration, they are developed strategies which
need to be taken to develop more creative results at workplace. There are several elements are
determines to spread information for new direction. On the other hand, manager is a person that
control people and resources in the business as per their principles and values that are taken into
the important consideration (Wang, Mathiyazhagan and Diabat, 2016). These also established to
perform functions and operations at workplace. They are mainly focuses on the effective results
that manage by the process to attain creativity and effectiveness at workplace. In this way,
managers are able to identify loopholes in the business environment that impact negatively on
functions and operations.
