INTRODUCTIONManagement and operation is defined as the process through which materials andresources are converted into semi-finished and finished products or services. The present assignment is written in context of Starbucks whichoperates coffee house chain. It operates in more than 30,000 locations. They offers differentproducts to customers that includes Coffee beverages, smoothies, tea, baked goods, sandwichesetc. In this assignment roles and characteristic of manager and leaders in context of Starbucks iscovered. Along with these importance of management and leadership theories will be discussedthat relates with operations of organisation is discussed.
