INTRODUCTION
Management and operation are the two important task of organization which have to
work effectively and efficiently to get the successful in development of the company along with
the coordination among leaders and managers. There are different roles of manager and leader
following different management and leadership models and approach in different operation
function of the organization as the different tactics to improve the profitably and productivity. To
achieve the goals of organization AUDI has to perform the management and operation. The
Audi group is one the major famous German company known for sporty vehicle, high quality
build and progressive work design. In this report majorly the role of leader and manager will be
highlights in the organization Audi along with all approaches and theories which will help in
increasing the efficiency of employee as the importance of management and operations. This
report will also discuss the issues faced by the employees.

Leaders- The leader in organization is one who performs the function of leadership. Leaders in
organization is one who influences the there followers to achieve specific goals of organization.
Through leadership, development of vision and mission of organization is archived by aligning
employees through motivation. Proper communication of objective is done to employees through
there influence.
Managers- the one person who manages important function of organization such as planning,
organizing, staffing and controlling is known as managers(Keller, 2017). They act as bridge
between the various department of organization to maintain coordination between there work-
plans as to have efficient decision-making in company.

leadership and management. Management theories are some of regarding the motivation of
employee to achieve the gaol and objective of organization where some leadership theories are
hoe to deal with employee at different situation in organization.
The management theory X and Y deals as two different style of management as different
perception of motivation to employee. In this management theory they divided employee in X
employee who dislike their work-plans and are apathetic in nature so in this type manager have
the strict rules for employees as they don't trust them(Khanh and Son,2016). Whereas in Y
employee are self-motivated so manager make them part of decision-making and encourages
there creativity. On other hand situation leadership, the leaders choose the best course of action
according to situation variable which will help them to pursue with decision-making.
The next will be contingency theory which states that no leadership style is best for the
specific situation. On the basis of the criteria of particular situation the plan a or plan b will be
implemented. On the other hand management human relation theory will try to pay emphasis in
increasing productivity from dissatisfied employee by changing their environmental condition so
that these changes can bring positive impact and productivity can increase.

There are various situations in Audi company and in all different situation the leader and
manager used to play different role. In the same situation leader and manger used to play
different roles and function in same organization to solve major issues.
Technological change.
In every company after a certain period there is change in technology that effects organization
internally and externally. With help of technological development the quality of services or
product served by company tends to improve. the technological change created risk in company
due to mismanagement and resistance in company employees(Khanh and Son,2016). The
efficiency and effectiveness of the workplace will be reduced at starting level as the lack of
training about new technology and resistance of employees. Hence, this turn out to be barrier in
development and implementation of technological changer.
Role of leader
Leader will understand the need of the change in technology in the organization. Leader in the
company will try to influence the followers about the benefit of technological change and help
them to work according to the development of needs of organization. Leader will try to make
employees more focussed by creative ways in company enhancement. The leader will ask
management to provide training to employee so that they can accept the changes. The leader of
Audi company will try to increase confidence of employees to accept change.
Role of manager.
Manger will try to understand what are major issue in acceptability of technological change in
employee environment. For this manger will call up for meeting with all the subordinates and
other member of management to decide further step for development. Manager will try to
identify needs of employee and different management style will be implemented so that the
purpose of technological change can be achieved. The manager will train employee about new
technology. Manager will play the function on directing in which he will arrange for training and
development programme for employee in Audi company.

Employment turnover :
Employment turnover refers to the condition where the rate of employees leaving the company is
very high as comparative to retention of employees(Kennedy, 2016). The employees used to
leave Audi companies as they feel demotivated towards there work or working environment is
not suitable to them. Other major reason for retention of employee can be due to management
issues, so they replace employees with new employees.
Role of leaders
As there is high employee turnover in Audi company, leader of company will try to satisfy the
needs of employee as to make them insist on staying longer in organization. Leader used to play
major role in development of needs of employees. The motivates employee will be asked to fill
feedback and this will eventually will have critical analysis the reason why employment turnover
is high. Leader makes the job interesting of employee by giving them appreciation, good
feedback and appropriate training.
Role of manager
The role of manager in Audi company is that they play important emphasis to reduce the
turnover in the company(Keller, 2017.). They try to treat there employee with all opportunity and
equal participant in the decision-making so that employee is freely shared their problem with
manager. the motivation incentive such as promotion, incentives, health and safety reward are
given so that employee's remain motivated and turn over comes towards reduction.

Situational leadership:
in this type of leadership in Audi, the leader have to manage leadership in company according to
situational variable in the company. Leader has to work on the leadership on what are current

Operation management play an important role in increasing and effectiveness of the Audi
company by increasing productivity and profitability. To enhance the performance of Audi
company is trying to have the application of various techniques in the development of
organization(Goldsmith, Mahero and Davies, 2015). The company is trying to apply various
techniques like just in time, total quality management and lean six sigma as to reach maximum
level d satisfaction in the profitability of organization. Continuous monitoring of the system is
done so that the company can have the proper allocation of resources. The implementation of six
sigma and other techniques are done so that the proper allocation sources can be done in the
proper way.
Total quality management(TQM)- in company AUDI it is important to have the strong customer
base as this company is already target the high end customer in market. The consumer of this
organization will be treated as the customer first. The overall development of organization is
need so that the proper allocation of resources can be done in proper way. The statistical quality
management should be applied. The company is trying to produce the best quality of product
with overall development of company so that productivity and efficiency of company can be
increased at higher level(Gates and Chehebar, 2018 ). Leaders look after the rules and regulation
for employee and manger tent to look after management of raw material.
Just In Time(JIT)
The concept of just in time offers a proper scheduling of work in organization without any
disturbance. There is well-organized and smooth workflow with carefully managed costing of
material and labour with reduction in idle time and increased managerial capacity. Mangers
motivate there employee in such a way that complete task peacefully without any interruption
that will increase the quality of work and product development in company(Dulović and
Slavković, 2016). JIT depend on major four key principles- Heijunka, kanban, elimination of
waste, task time. Manger in organization will boost the willpower of employee so that
productivity can be increased I with smooth working and goal accomplishment. Leader will try

work.
Lean six sigma(Hybrid Of Lean Manufacturing And Six Sigma) the six sigma is a effective
way of identifying defect and thrifty this process the reduction will be reduced proper waste
elimination. His the combined combination of lean six sigmas. This will have lead to
strengthening the policy and cultural high performance which leads to the high productivity and
efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Manager of the company will lookalike the
waste management whereas the leader will look after the plaining of the workers in the
development of organisation.
Lean six sigma(Hybrid Of Lean Manufacturing And Six Sigma) as the six sigma is
effective way for the defect and reduction and lean manufacturing focuses on the waste
elimination. So in lean six sigma both of this concept are combined together. So Toyota has its
own super charged lean six sigma programmes called as TPS(Denysiuk, Opryshko. and
Strzelecki, 2016.). As six sigma leads to the employees strengthening and high performance in
culture, it bestows the creativity level by increasing firms profitability, productivity and customer
satisfaction. Leaders of the company will focus of the vision of the Toyota whereas the manager
will look after the waste management utilization.

Operation management used to play the important role in the management of the plan of the
organization. The operation management help in successful implementation of the plan in the
company which is leading in increase in the productivity of the company. There are the
application of various approaches are there jitsu as the total quality management ,lean six sigmas
these al are contributing in the development to the organisation by increasing the efficiency and
productivity of the organization. With the developer of this typ of techniques there is
successfully implementation of operation management..so there are various advantage of the

development of such plan in th organisation as they increase the productivity and profitably of
the management of the company. the importance are in the various department such as-
Resources utilization- there is proper utilization of resources has to be done wherewith
successful implementation of the resources in the organization. the techniques have help in
proper allocation of resources and reduction in waste material in Audi company. Do yo proper
management the blocking of finance and blocking of raw material has been stooped. the proper
ware housing and management of work is been implemented in work.
Increasing the revenue- due to the application of various techniques in the management of
company like TQM, lean six sigma and many more has make the employee motivated to work
towards the efficiency and effective in there work. The employee of organization has been
treated that there should not b any compromise with the development of product. Due to this
management has increase the productivity in organisation . Overall control b manger of company
will lead to improve the efficiency and quality of work in organization lean management ha been
used in which at each step rectification is been done so that to achieve the error and deduct
them..
Waste manage- due to the application of various management techniques in the company, the
efficiency of organization have been improved but with effect of reduction in waste material in
the production. Various tools were used by the various leaders to apply the management
techniques like Value Stream Mapping, Ishikawa, and Poka-Yoke.this will help in reduction of
waste and increase the efficiency and effective.

management by leaders and managers.
Corporate social responsibility- the manger of the Audi organisation has to look after the
development of the CSR activities in the development of the society. It is the responsibility of
the company is to develop the society. It simply means that the company is developing at the cost
of the society so it is important to develop the society. So the organisation has to pay it duty to
work in the development of company(Auvinen,2015.). Leaders will look after the development

of quality control over the society along with the management of worker as to develop the
organisation.
Culture – the company like Audi will try to active the culture of the society as to make the
development of the employee. The development of the employee will make the increase in the
productivity of d the profitability of organisation to be achieved. The manger will play the role of
gentleman off the work so that the employee will be happy with the work.
CONCLUSION
Management and operation are the two important task of organization which have to work
effectively and efficiently to get the successful in development of the company along with the
coordination among leaders and managers. Audi along with all approaches and theories which
will help in increasing the efficiency of employee as the importance of management and
operations. Operation management used to play the important role in the management of the
plan of the organization. The operation management help in successful implementation of the
