INTRODUCTION
The practises that are been followed in the organisation is unique and different according
to the management discussion. Operational work is been done in an effective manner to take out
the work in best output. There various types of process that are been taken in to the production
level. Some of the basic elements are the land,labour and capital. Labours are been taken into the

At the present study it has been evaluated about the TESCO, it is one of the transnational
groceries retail business which is started in UK. The company was establish in 1919. in the
report is been discussed about roles and responsibilities of the managers and leaders and its
characteristics. Even addition to this theories which are been applied in the study in aspect to
management. At last but not the least it also been included the different approaches and styles
which is been explained in report.

TESCO is one of biggest company in the retail sector which is been engaged in different
operational activities which include general groceries merchandise. It is a British multinational
company which is found in London, UK. There different products which the company is offering
in Superstore, grocery store also in Hyper market. Management is adopted highly structure
which is in a form of power and authority which is lies from the top to bottom. Managers and
leaders are the important part of the organisation which set roles and responsibilities to increase
the productivity in an effective and adaptable manner. Roles and duties are been set by the
management in such way that the employees can work in unity with effective learning attitude.
Moreover this company also working hard to make the management in successful way.

Leaders :
The individual who guide and make a straight way for its employees is known to right
encouraging person. Leaders are who hold the authority and motivate the workforce to attain the
goals, objective of the organisation. In context to Kotter, it has been defined as leaders who
works in the production and set a proper goal for their employees in a creative manner and
helping them to adopt the environment changes. Moreover leaders of TESCO set the proper
directions to its management team in such effective way which aid to guide the organisational
targets and goals (Ellitan 2017)

in guiding employees in effective way.
