INTRODUCTIONManagement is determined as a component of a company that tend to manage activitiesby setting up an effective strategy for an organisation. Mobile business solutions helps DavidJones in developing mobile advertisements through which firm can provide information to itsclients about their products and services.(Fayol, 2016). Company which is taken in thisassignment is David Jones which is a departmental store and provides customers with goods andproducts.Present report will include technologies, different platforms, success factors which arerequired for proper implementation of mobile advertisement business solution. In addition tothis, various cost factors and key components of mobile solutions are also discussed in thisreport. Main BodyWith the change in course of time, as new technologies are evolving many companies arefocussing on implementing these tools and technologies for operating their business in a bettermanner without any complications. Large number of firms are moving towards mobile businesssolutions which for instance can be expensive in nature or implementing can be a complexproposition but it will give appropriate results after a certain time period. Most of the companieslaunch its business so as to gain better outcomes and results from it. Therefore, in order to satisfyits customers company are implementing new technologies which is enabling firm in gettingmaximum benefits. David Jones was established in the year 1838 which is a upmarketdepartment store that provides fashion and cosmetic products, home wares, furnitures, electricaland food items as well.There was a time when David Jones was one of the leading company but now firm isgoing through tough phase as their sales are decreasing and customer base is also going down.Main reason behind this was of customer satisfaction, because goods which are provided by thecompany are not according to the needs and wants of consumers. For example: there was a casein which a clients ordered a commodity and goods what he received was not appropriate as theproduct was not of good quality (Hill, 2017). Thus, for increasing its sales and profitability andretaining their customers loyalty, firm is thinking of making some modifications and changeslike they are adopting Mobile business solution through which firm will focus on Mobileadvertisement and this has been chosen because mobile are very handy and large number of1
customers are using this, as a result it will attract customers on large scale.Through MobileBusiness Solutions firm is trying to know about the perceptions of customers for the productswhich company is providing as this will enable them in making changes according to customers.For example: number of likes and shares an advertisement gets from customers. With the help ofMobile Business Solutions, consumers will be aware of goods and products that are provided bythe company as it will give proper information related to price, etc., Technologies, which David Jones can use for improving their customer base andproviding better solutions to customers are given below:Internet of Things: Internet of things is a wider concept and basically it is define as aprocess that assist company in connecting with physical objects with the help of internet. Thishelp firm in connecting with LAN based servers but in wireless form which enable enterprise ingetting information very easily. David Jones is using this technology for connecting with itsclients in a better manner (Wagner, Beimborn and Weitzel, 2014). Mobile advertisements arethe best source for interacting with consumers so it is important that company makes attractiveadvertisements which can further provide better information to customers. Therefore, DavidJones can use Internet of things for adding different features in mobile advertisement like theycan add the option of mobile payment for customer convenience so when client while purchasinggoods can simply scan the QR code and can make payments. With the help of IoT, David Jonescan make their store smart, as with the help of Wi-Fi foot-traffic company is monitoringcustomers for knowing the products which they are preferring. Than with the help of real time,company is determining and setting store layouts so as to make shopping experience moreconvenient for customers. Although the process of implementing Internet of Things is quite expensive and firm canalso find it difficult to explain the process to its employees. Instead of this, the move will assistcompany in having better relations with customers as through mobile advertisements consumerscan easily check pricing of the products. Therefore, if any new products is launched by companythan customers can get information easily through mobile advertisement. Cloud Based software: Cloud based is termed as a software or application through whichservices or resources are made available to users on demand through internet.
