Research and Analysis of 3 different definitions of Coaching
The term coaching has been described in a number of different ways and processes. Each
of the researchers have identified different or similar elements and characteristics of coaching
and described them accordingly. According to, Whitemore (2003) the term coaching can be
described as the unlocking of the potential of a person in order to maximize the performance of
the different types of the people. The following helps the person to learn more rather than
teaching. On the other hand coaching can be also said to a collaborative solution that is focused,
result-oriented and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of the
work performance, life experience, self directed learning and the personal growth of the person
being coached (Grant 1999). Another famous description of coaching has been cited by
International Coaching Federation where the professional partnership between a qualified
coach and a particular individual or team that support the achievement of the extra-ordinary
results, based on goals that are set by the individual or the team.
I totally agree with the definitions as because the definitions cover all the basic and
critical aspects of the coaching subject.
Differences between coaching and mentoring
Though coaching and mentoring seem to be same and also seems to define the same
thing, both of them differ in a lot number of ways from each other. The differences in between
mentoring and coaching can be highlighted through the use of a proper comparison cum

Case Study
Main issue with the Case Study
A thorough analysis of the case study will show that a major issue persists in the
company which is the stoic and stubborn attitude of the CEO of the business enterprise. The
attitude of the CEO to not accept or pay heed to ideas proposed by other persons of the
management can have different implications. The CEO has a strong confidence about his own
ideas and believes that nobody in the company can match his level of knowledge. Such a strong
belief towards one’s own ideas can sometimes lead to huge problems and will therefore be
problematic for the organization to attain success and sustainability in the market.
Handling the Issue
The following issue is a huge issue for the business enterprise and can lead to major
problems for the organization in the future. As it is quite well implied that the CEO of the
organization has a strong attitude and always wants the management to abide by his decisions, it
will be best for the managers and the supervisors to abide by his decisions and ensure to make
some amendments to provide the touch of a universal look and make it look like the decision that
has been widely accepted by the overall management.
Activity to be undertaken in case of the CEO not changing the expectations
In case the CEO of the organization does not abide to the amendments, it will be best to
show him the possible positives of the amendments and then be presented with a transparent
view of the negatives that the business organization will face if they do not change the original
plan by a small margin. However, the management will ultimately have to stick to the plans of
the CEO if the CEO does not allow for the amendments.
Obtaining Support
The coaching strategy must be presented in a proper and effective manner by means of
video and audio presentation to the CEO and the management of the business. The presentation
will include the needs of the coaching strategy, the positives of the coaching strategy, the

are trained in the business enterprise. Two basic coaching techniques include the likes of;
a. Trying the Perfect Day Exercise-
b. Exploration of the 3C’s Method
Identification of different types of ways to support the technique
a. Trying the Perfect Day Exercise-Most of the clients have struggled with getting back to

exercise the clients are generally challenged heavily and are forced to visualize about
their real wants from the beginning to the end. This helps to really prime up the ambition
of the clients.
b. Exploration of the 3C’s Method-The coaching and entrepreneurship program can be a
journey that may have to be done totally alone. However, if the person learns how to
communicate, collaborate and create together on a particular project and create something
new. The exploration of the following model can thus be important for the business

Outline of two storage methods for coaching data or information
The data used for business coaching is one of the most confidential elements of the
business. It must be kept as a trade secret and must never come out in the public as leakage of
information could lead to problems in the business organization. The report has highlighted two
most important coaching storage methods which are as follows;
a. Local Storage of Data- The storage of data locally is one of the best processes to have a
full control over the data at all the times. The local storage of data can be helpful for
different kind of businesses. Co-location comes into place where storing locally can help
to ensure the cost savings for the organization. Local data storage also does not involve
the use of the internet and thus helps the retrieval process to be faster and more secure in
nature.
b. Cloud based Data Storage- The cloud based data storage is one of the most used and
most reliable element for data storage. The best thing about cloud is that each and
everything from people, businesses and larger businesses have the best chance to take
necessary advantage of the cloud based technology. The main reason for the choice of
cloud by a majority of business organizations is because of its cost effectiveness but also
because of the amount of space it provides the user.
Risks Associated
As said earlier, the coaching data is one of the most secret and private documents that
needs to be stored in a proper and effective manner. The storage of the data in a proper manner is
important for the business to gain success. High degree of risks is associated with these
