Project management plan refers to a process that provides guidelines, blueprint and a
formal structure of a process to complete a work in an appropriate manner. This works as an
effective plan by which a corporation is able to complete their roles in specified time period.
Further, it help to define, prepare, integrate and coordinate different activities of organisation.
Project management plan also provides appropriate and relevant information to all of its
departments. In context of Hershey it is easy for them to complete their task in systematic and
sequential manner (Armstrong and Collmus, 2016).
Scope- The term scope refers to a group of activities and opportunities that exist in market.
Therefore while considering the research an investigator founds a larger scope as it helps them to
understand and to gain cognition about several methods of recruitment and selection. Due to this
2

in upcoming future investigator leads the manager towards those HR practices which leads
organisation to gain more profits. Moreover, for organisation the effective practices of
recruitment, selection and training helps them to recruit skilled and qualified employee's for
organisation too complete their task effectively. This results the productivity and profitability
will be increases because of hiring right candidates. In context of Hershey they complete the
scope is wide because food industry is growing with rapid speed. Moreover, it is also beneficial
for researcher as chocolate industry is leading at overall world.
Cost- The cost is a crucial factor for organisation because it helps them to complete their work in
a specific budget which is decided by management. This helps them to complete their work
without wasting their financial aspects. So to complete the research activities in a particular time
researcher requires minimum amount of £ 6,000 for implementing and executing projects
requirement effectively. This amount help researcher to submit their product effectively in
market. Whereas, on other side organisation requires particular amount of £ 38,000 to implement
effective process of its cost (Brewster, 2017). For managing the financial position of Hershey
some resources that need to included in budget are mention as follow:
Particular Amount
Financial transaction £ 8,000
Investment in research and development £ 14,000
Training of employee's £ 5,000
Raw material and other mandatory resources £ 7,000
Change of change £ 9,000
Total £ 42, 000
Time- Time is the other component in a project plan that stats appropriate time to complete a
project within minimum time period. It refers to complete the research work with in required
time period. The estimated time period required for completion of research is of 2 months. On
other side it is essential for Hershey to adopt essential changes in organisation due to which
3

estimated time required is of 180 days. So changes are adopt by each organisation in effective
manner.
Quality- This refers to completion to complete the research activities in order to complete their
work with high efficiency. Quality of Hershey products is too high which satisfies the needs of
customer’s. Similarly research must also be developed and formulated on unbiased basis.
Therefore project manager leads them to complete their work in minimum time period to achieve
their goals by developing products according to need of its customers. Researcher collect and
gather essential information due to which it is easy for them to complete their work in minimum
time period. This governs it is essential for researcher to submit their work with more standard in
order to complete it effectively.
Communication- For completing research activities and functions on time, effective
communication channel is required by organisation to complete their work (Dany and Torchy,
2017). This channel leads them for completing their work with high efficiency through
interacting with clients. Transparent and direct communication channel is implemented by
Hershey. In context of researcher social media technique is implemented by organisation.
Through the helps of phones, mails and communication channel it is for project manager to
communicate through different mediums that provides direct and proper information to
customers and employee's. Further to communicate with all stakeholders organisation focuses on
to communicate with employee's in effective manner.
Risk- While completing a project different risk are faced by organisation such as alternation in
the market conditions and changes in environment. So it is mandatory to tackle these challenges
in order to fulfil their objectives. Similarly, on other side risk faced by researcher is to complete
and submit their work in minimum time period. Example- organisation face risk because of
inappropriate data that creates complexity to make effective decisions. For researcher it is
difficult to collect and analysis responses from respondents. Similarly it is also essential for
organisation and researcher to overcome from this risk factors in order to sustain their success
for longer period in organisation.
Resources- This is one of the most beneficial aspect for organisation that is consider to complete
their work. Hershey requires several items for effectively implementing HR practices in
organisation. This considers that they requires finance, human and technological resources in
order to complete their work in minimum time period. Further investigator needs internet.
