INTRODUCTION
Equality and Diversity are two different concepts within the organisation which has to be
used in a singular term by the firm so that it can manage the behaviour of individual as well as
increase the satisfaction by properly implementation of this factor. For development of effective
culture as well as increasing the performance of different individuals within the firm it is
important to manage the concept of equality and Diversity at the workplace. In this current
research there is discussion about various factors related to the concept of equality and Diversity
within the organisation MOMA FOOD . In this report discussion about the aims and objectives
of the project, there is also a discussion about a proper project management plant as well as
outline of various methods related to the aims and objectives of the report. Is also consists of
work breakdown structure and chart to identify a proper time period of the work. There
discussion the research by using appropriate method likes questionnaire and its interpretation. In
the end, of this report in recommendation and reflection on the side of researcher.
Task 1
P1 development of research objectives and aims
Research aim: “To identify various impact of diversity and equality on functions of an
organisation in business environment “A case study on MOMA FOOD
Research objectives:
 To understand the concept of equality and adversity related to MOMA FOOD .
 To bring out various benefits of equality and adversity in MOMA FOOD .
 To identify different strategies which can be used by MOMA FOOD to implement
diversity and equality in organisation.
Research questions:
 How can the information about equality and adversity related to MOMA FOOD be
collected?
 How can MOMA FOOD be benefited from application of equality and diversity in the
organisation?
 What are the different strategies which can be used by MOMA FOOD in order to
implement equality and diversity in the organisation?
Literature review

Concepts of diversity and equality in organisation
According to Lee, 2020, the concept of diversity as well as equality is essential for an
organisation as it helps in defining various functions which are related to the workforce
management in an organisation. The author has clearly described the various concepts and
importance of study of these concepts individually for an organisation. Equality refers to the
process in which the procedures and policies applied in an organisation are equally applicable or
on the employees of the organisation. Equality in our org. means that it is required by
organisation to make sure that there is no discrimination on the basis of religion, caste and
gender in an organisation. On the other hand, diversity refers to hiring and managing employees
who are from different culture and backgrounds. Talent management of employees can also be
measured with the help of diversity and equality in an organisation. It is necessary that an
organisation is leading to excellence towards diversity and equality in order to make sure that
they are productively using the workforce available to them and also reducing the grievances and
conflicts between employs in the organisation. Using strong communication methods can also
facilitate smooth functioning of an organisation with equality and diversity.
Benefits of equality as well as diversity to MOMA FOOD
According to Pilkington, 2020, there are a number of different kind of benefits which are
brought to MOMA FOOD with the help of concept of managing diversity as well as equality in
the organisation. It helps in bringing productivity as well as profitability to the organisation. The
author has described how identification of various task will help in strengthening the relationship
between employees and the organisation which can help in increasing their productivity and
achievement of goals and objectives of the organisation. It can also be stated that if fair
opportunities are brought to words all the employees in the organisation, they are motivated and
they work towards all the goals and objectives of the organisation. Equality and diversity in
MOMA FOOD will also help the employees in the organisation to grow professionally as well
as personally.
Different strategies which helps in supporting the implementation of diversity and equality in
organisation
According to Coraggio and et. al, 2020, in order to achieve various targets which are meant
for implementing management of equality and diversity concepts in an organisation there are a
number of strategies which can be implemented. It is necessary for MOMA FOOD to create a

plan which will help the organisation to identify different functions which will be involved in it.
It is also stated that a number of strategies such as increasing talent management, employee
engagement and providing them proper training and development will help in implementing
diversity as well as equality in an org. By implementing all these concepts in the organisation as
Coke and efficiently develop an equal and diversified workforce in their organisation.
P2 Project management plan
There is a plan made in order to continue the research in an efficient manner. It will help in
describing all the major factors which are related to a research. There is a task management plan
computed in order to support the work in an organised format. Below mentioned are essential
factors included in project management plan:
Cost: Cost is an evaluation of all the monitory form of investment required for the
research. It refers to creation of a budget in order to decide what will be the amount spent by the
researcher in order to continue the research effectively. For the following research £9000 will be
used by the researcher to continue it and bring out the recommendations. This amount will
utilized to achieve objectives of research in timely manner (Andres Imaz, 2020).
Time: It is necessary for the researchers to make a timeline of all the activities which will
be carried out in the research. It will help in examining the time required to finish the research
properly. In the following research, estimated time which will be use by researcher to complete
there research is around 12 months. This is sufficient time which is require to full fill the
requirements of this project.
Scope- Scope of project can be define as future of project where researcher can
perform activities which are related to function of organisation and achieving research
objectives. In relation to current research, The main scope of project is to analyse various
opportunities which are helpful in developing project effectively.
Quality- this factor is associated with quality of data which is use by researcher to
complete research in appropriate way. Under this report, to achieve the objectives of
research in positive manner. Researcher use to identify the data in appropriate quality. All
the data use in this research is from relevant and collected from credible sources of
information.

Risk- In business environment, every project is associate with as well as problems. Due
to this, it is difficult to manage risks in projects because they have impact on decision making.
In relevance with firm, they they also faces many risk in project such as political risks, change of
situations risk etc. These type of risks directly have a impact upon organisational overall
structure.
Resources- When the project is initiated the first most important thing which comes in
mind is resources. It is essential for investigator to arrange resources for the project undertaken
so that and to arrange them properly so that everything is carried out in appropriate way. In
respective entity, they also required and arrange resources such as technology requirement, raw
materials, etc. & arranges them systematically.
P3 Work breakdown structure and Gantt chart
Work breakdown structure: It is often seen that work breakdown structure is used in order
to implement the common understanding as well as scope of the project. All the activities which
are included in order to carry out a research are divided into various groups in work breakdown
structure. These groups are then subdivided into smaller groups in order to organise the work
successfully by the researcher (Amri and Latief, 2020). Work breakdown structure for the
following research will be helping the researcher in order to continue all the activities related to
research and successfully bring on recommendations for the research. Work breakdown structure
also helps in examining all the activities and make sure that no activities in the research are left
behind by the researcher. Below mentioned is the work breakdown structure used for the
following research:

Gantt chart: The chart which is used by the researcher in project management in order to
make sure that the scheduling, planning as well as the time management in the research is done
properly is known as Gantt chart. A chart is prepared which provides the time schedule and
duration required to perform all the different activities which are related to the result. It is in the
form of a horizontal bar diagram which can fulfil all the requirements of a plan for the research.
It is used by a number of businesses on a day-to-day basis in order to make sure that all the
activities of a project are defined clearly and out with the time management required for
fulfilment of all the task and objective (Sultana, 2020). It is required to control a number of
different affairs by dividing the task which is allotted and also mention in the time required to
fulfil all the task. It also helps in critically evaluating all the reasons for conducting a task
successfully. When considering the following to search for MOMA FOOD it is necessary to
control all the functions and apply a Gantt chart in order to make sure that the time available to
complete the research is used fruitfully to bring down the recommendations from the following
research. Below mentioned is the current chart prepared by researcher which contains all the task
and objectives of the following research.

P4 Research methodology
Research methodology refers to a blend of all the processes which are used to continue a
research and do it successfully. It involves both the subjective as well as various procedures

Subjective processes: This is a process which is used in order to assess the conceptual part
of various multiple and distinctive workforce in the company in the process of research. For an

also recommendations made in order to prove how can this be useful in completing a research as

researchers themselves go to the required employees in the organisation in order to get the
question is fulfilled by them and then on that the research is conducted. This can be removed or
most authentic way to look for data as there are less chances of bias in these kind of data.
However it is often seen that it is a time taking process and requires a lot of investment of time,
effort, money and other resources used in the research (Johnston and Forrest, 2020).
Secondary: Secondary method of research refers to finding out the data which is already
present in the market. There are a number of ways to look for such data which can be through the
reports and researches which are done earlier, magazines, newspapers and some other
governmental resources. It is also a great way to collect the data from the market. However, there
can be no relevancy for this data and there is a lot of data present which can take a lot of time to
sort out. In this research the previously present figure is an information that are used which can
usually help and provide significant material to an investigator in order to find the information
required by the researcher.
Research categories can also be divided into two parts that is quantitative as Willis
qualitative research. Below mentioned are a description of both of these types of research:
Qualitative research: Qualitative research is a type of research which is adopted in order
to make sure that the data and information which is present with the researcher of the project are
used in order to achieve all the objectives of the business world. There are a number of different
methods through which the data is collected in this type of research. Secondary data is mostly
used in such researchers. The data which is required for such research must be of good quality
and relevant. It helps in containing an accuracy as well as revenue and see regarding the data. It
is necessary that the presentation of data is done graphical manner (Elliott and Roberts, 2020).
Quantitative research: The collection of data in quan. type of research is done with a
number of methods which includes questionnaires, polls as well as service from the parties
which are impacted. It is seen that the data and sample which is collected with the help of this
research at exact. It is usually done when the population which is impacted due to research is
large.
Sampling: In the following research the sampling is taken from the help of a
questionnaire. There are 40 respondents included from home the response regarding the
questionnaire is collected. All these are the employs of MOMA FOOD who have filled a
questionnaire in order to bring recommendations for the organisation.

P5 Identification and analysis of the research and data by using different tools and techniques
Sampling: Sampling is made based on two types of methods where first one is non-
probable sampling and second one is probability sampling. In the current report, probability
sampling method is used by the investigator so that it can easily identify the impact of equality
and Diversity concept at the workplace. In this report 40 respondents are chosen from the
organisation test to where they will answer some questions mentioned below:

Interpretation: According to the graph ment. above, it can be seen that 34 out of 40 respondents
know about the significance of diversity and equality at the workplace where 6 out of 40
respondents doesn't know about this concept. This states that majority of people know about the
concept and significance of diversity and equality.

decreasing staff turnover and recruitment of talented people. This is because equal amount of
respondents responded in favour of this function when the question about advantages to the
organisation related to the concept of equality and Diversity at workplace asked from them. 10
out of 40 responded for increasing innovation at workplace is the advantage to the organisation
in implementing the concept of equality and diversity.

respondent 28 of 40 impacted positively that concept related to equality and Diversity will
impact positively on the organisation. 10 out of 40 responded in negative manner where only two
out of 40 said that it has both positive and negative impact.

P6 Recommendations
Identification of the information from the above mentioned research it can be interpreted from
the full research that there are various method which can be used by the researcher to conclude a
productive evidence of the report. It is recommendation mentioned below which are directly
related to the concept of equality and diversity within MOMA FOOD .
 It is recommended to the organisation that implementation of concept related to equality
and Diversity is important for the first written the talent as well as increasing the chances
of survival with the competitive market maintaining proper level of equality and
diversity.
 It also helped company in increasing the productivity of the form because by the
maintenance of equality and Diversity company can enjoy the benefit of minimum
conflicts within the firm as well as can easily achieve its goals and objectives by
effectively using the resources.
 It is also recommended to the organisation that by adoption of the change in the strategies
as well as policies of the organisation. Higher authorities within the firm has to discuss
these changes to its employees so that they can easily face different challenges related to
changes within the strategies and policies made by the organisation.

P7 Reflection
Equality and Diversity concept is very vast which provide me different opportunity related
to my dearest skills were identified various conversation Discovery experience and opportunities
which helped me in performing my res. in an appropriate manner as well as increasing my skills
related to various research methodologies as well as development of research articles. This
directly influence on my skills knowledge and learning process where I get favourable to various
communication motivational and cooperative skills as well as leadership skills which directly
impact on my future career. Under this research, main communication skills are also improve
because I got chance to interact with various individuals while forming the questionnaire as well
as taking their views regarding the concept of equality and Diversity within their organisation. I

also get to know about my various data collection skills as well as information analysis skills
while performing this research as well as identifying the research methodology. this concept also
help me in increasing my knowledge about equality and Diversity because prior to this research,
my information concept of equality is diversity is too low that I even not know about the small
concepts as well as definitions related to equality and Diversity at workplace. Performing this
research I understand various concept related to equality and Diversity as well as its importance
to the organisation for successful in achieving its business objectives.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above mentioned research report that quality and Diversity
concept is important for the organisation it helps in managing the success achieving its goals and
objectives in an appropriate manner. In managing the workforce and retaining the talented people
within the for by the help of reducing the chances of conflicts as well as using a proper culture at
workplace. Also help manager to build strategy within the firm related to the diversify workforce
and using the ability and scale of each and every aspect within the firm by knowing their cultural
background. Managing the diversity in work force as well as retaining the talented employee for
managing quality workforce as well as using the recommendation given by the researcher.
