on WFC Contractors .
INTRODUCTION
Equality and diversity at the workplace is explained as promoting an quality of the
opportunities ad providing the equal chance to a person to attain potential and free from the
discrimination. It helps employees to work freely without facing any kind of the discrimination.
For executing the quality and diversity practices at workplace, managers need to adopt various
strategies which contribute in achieving business objectives within specific time period. This
present report is based on the WFC Contractors company. It is an award winning company
which is specialised in UK leisure industry. It is the company which have 40 year track record in
order to deliver high quality project management and main contractor services within the
industry. In present report will be discussed about project management plan by consisting
various aspects such as scope, quality, cost, communication and resources (Boehm, and
Dwertmann, 2015). There is going to discuss about the small scale investigation through
applying the quantitative and qualitative research methods for meeting the project aim and
objectives effectively. For the data collection and analysis, researcher use different tools which
will be discuss in this project.

P1 Project aims and objectives
In today's competitive world, Equality & Diversity has been considered as one of the
most essential element at workplace which provide various advantages and disadvantages to the
staff members. It is the method which reduces discrimination as each and every individual get
equal opportunities at the workplace which enhance their overall development. In order to
execute practices related to equality and diversity within the organisation in an effective manner
various strategies are adopted by the managers. From the last few years it has been analysed that
the concept of equality & diversity at the workplace plays very essential role as it provide equal
opportunities to the staff members working in the company (Cacchione, 2016). It will assist in
removing any kind of judgements which is generally based on the subject of stereotypes. It has
been analysed that there are ample number of business organisation facing such type of

discrimination which negatively affects the performance. Hence, different types of strategies are
going to be developed by the managers of organisation. Along with this, organisations like WFC
Contractors need to emphasis on the such factors which have their direct impact on the

Concept of equality & diversity at workplace
According to Dr. Kelly S. Meier (2019) equality as well as diversity at the workplace
plays very essential role as it provide fair and equal opportunities to the staff members without
any kind of discriminations. However, it has been analysed that diversity define as the concept
which encompasses religion, age, colour, gender, race and any other traits. On the other hand,

with the assistance of equality staff members will get equal number of opportunities and fair
treatment at the workplace. This will assist in enhancing the overall performance of the company
and gain competitive advantages at the marketplace. Apart from this, it has also been identified
that with the assistance of diversity within workplace human rights as well as opportunities will
be advanced which as a result leads to their overall development in both personal and
professional level. However, execution of equality & diversity practices within workplace,
managers will be able to enhance their overall performance at the marketplace (Cottrill and et.
al., 2014). Along with this, they will effectively cope up with issues arise within the company
which is related with labour turnover, disputes, confusion and so on. With the help of
implementing such aspects effectively, managers will be able to provide positive working
environment within the company which leads to produce high quality products and services.

to be adopted by the management team of each and every organisation in order to promote

power that every employee should be treated fairly and equally within the company so that goals
will be accomplished effectively and within stipulated time frame. Some of the most effective
strategies includes treating every individual equally, provide training sessions to staff members
so that they can adopt such practices in an effective manner. All these strategies assist the
management team in order to perform their task in an effective manner. For this, it is very
necessary to have positive working environment so that they can accomplish their pre define
