INTRODUCTION
Equality is one of the must crucial thing within the business organisation which directly
helps to deliver the equal opportunity to each and every employees while working within the
company. Here, diversity is understood as variety of culture, religions etc. available within the
employees of company (Ackermann and Winston, 2019). In context of any business organisation,
equality and diversity plays the most crucial role because employees gets equal opportunity in it
and even they gets the chance to express their ides and views as per the religious and culture
through which goals and target can be accomplish easily. In addition, if any of the organisation
suffer from the problem of conflicts and disputes then in this situation equality and diversity can
play the huge role for solving it out. In this respective project, the chosen organisation is Crowne
Plaza Hotels & Resorts which is situated in London. Here, in this assignment the topics which are
going to be covered will be related with aims and objectives of the company, project plans.
Different important information will be collected in it which will include research methods, tools
and many more. After preparing the project, the main aim will be related about taking the better
decision for accomplishing the goals of an organisation.
Summary of the company : Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts is one of the multinational
hotel industry company which provide different types of services to their customers. The
headquarter of the company is in Denham, United Kingdom. It was founded in the year 1970.
there are more then 400 hotels of Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in 52 countries (Crowne Plaza
Hotels & Resort, 2018).

P1: Aims and objectives of the project
Project can be explained the way of planning and plotting for the purpose of achieving
the outcome in specific time period. Project are mainly prepared for the shorter period of time
which fix period of time, budget and members are decided who will play the crucial role in
accomplishing the goals of an organisation.
Project Management can be explained as the planning and organisation the available
resources of the company by implementing different process, skills and even knowledge which
helps to complete any of the task in specific time period.

gain competitive advantages in cut throat competitive world.
According to Zach Lazzari, 2019 equality is defined as different employees has varied
perception regarding equality. Equality means deserving candidate should be provided equal job
opportunity despite of any gender. By this right candidate is placed in the vacant post. This raises
overall productivity and profitability ratio of the firm which is a positive sign for the business in
intense competitive world.
According to Jenny Darmody, 2019 there are numerous issues faced by organization due
gender pay gap in the premises. By this skilled and potential employees turn out ratio raises
which directly create impact on the business day to day working.
According to Kim Elsesser, 2015 there are distinguish ways to deal with gender pay gap .
Firm can implement pay transparency, eliminate negotiation etc. are some of the ways by which
equal wages are paid to the candidate working or hired on the same post. By this the feeling of
discrimination among male and female can be eliminated and positive working environment can
be build.

Project Management plan can be explained as the concept which helps business
organisation to divide the project into difference stages. Some of the components which are
added in this process is initiation, planning, controlling, execution and monitoring. It is necessary
because it helps to predetermine about the outcome of the project (Roulstone and Williams,
2014). Whenever any of the project is being prepared then various aspects are considered due to
which better outcomes can be accomplished easily. Below, there is the detail explanation about
project plan for Crowne Plza Hotels & Resorts.
Scope : The scope of this project is that it allows the develop the environment where
equal opportunities are being given to the employees where they can work in effective
manner. As divers environment will be there which will allow to get the ideas and views
of different employees. Also, there will be less chances that conflict will raise between
employees. In addition, company will get the chance to achieve their target on specific
time period.

to understand that managing the time will be the most crucial part for accomplishing the
goals on time. Here, total time which will be required to complete the work on time will
be around 3 months because lots of work is required to be conducted such as collecting
data, managing all of the data in a systematic manner. Also, there will be the requirement
to understand that what are that information which is relevant and what are those which
will not be helpful.
Resources: In this, Hotel like Crowne Plaza will required to have land, employees, HR,
fund etc. so that high possible can be made for the purpose of attaining the goals of an
organisation. Also, researcher will need to analyse about the resources available in the

company such as expert teams, leadership skill and manner as they can guide that how
any of the work is needed to be done. While doing any of the research, it is necessary for
the researcher to use different resources so that accurate information can be collected for
attaining the desire outcome. Human resource will play the most significant role as they
will explain that what are the ways through which work can be completed. Materials will
be external resources which are needed to be used. Information about the organisation and
financial plan will also be one of the internal information’s that is needed to be analysed
by the researcher.
