Topic-“To identify the types of strategies and initiatives that need to be

inclusive and diverse manpower”.
INTRODUCTION
For successfully managing a business it is necessary to timely conduct research to get
information about latest trends of environment and to keep a balance with desire and demands of
customers and other stakeholders. In today's business environment phenomena of Equality and
diversity at workplace is increasing at employees from different culture and diversified
characteristics are appointed by organisation to have better creativity and talents at workplace.
An inclusive and diversified workforce also provides competitive advantage to organisation
through enhancing their performance (Abdullah and Foo, 2019). For this research chosen
organisation is Bentley which is a British manufacturer and marketer of luxury cars and SUV.
This research report includes aims, objective and timeframes of project. Beside this a small scale
research is also included to gather data to support this research. Use of appropriate tools and
techniques is also made to analysis the collected data. Finally, recommendations and reflection
are also included ion this research report.

P1) Aim and objectives for the project
Regular market research and analysis of business environment is essential for managing a
business organisation as it provides all relevant information need to make effective decisions.
This research ensures better determination and evaluation of factors of business environment and
attitude and behaviour of customers and stakeholders and it also make an organisation aware
about latest concepts and trends that are prevailing in environment (Barzelay, 2019). Bentley is a
multinational organisation which deals in Luxury cars and its business activities include
marketing and manufacturing of theses luxury cars. Its main headquarter is in England, UK but
having its business operations in various parts of world thus, it become necessary for Bentley to
identify and develop strategies for management of diversity and equality at its organisation.
Therefore this research is conducted on Bentley motors with the following aims and objective.

The main motto of this investigation is, “To identify the types of strategies and initiatives
that need to be designed, developed and implemented by Bentley to have a inclusive and diverse
workforce.”
Objectives
The main objective and focus behind conducting this research on Bentley are provided
below:
To understand the conception of development of equality and diversity at workplace.
To identify the various types of strategies and initiatives that can be developed and
adopted by Bentley to build an effective diverse and inclusive manpower at its
workplace. To determine the possible advantageous and limitation of increasing equality and
diversity at workplace of an organisation.

P2) Project management plan
This is defined as a written piece of writing which is in used by an organisation in order
to facilitating detailed and clear guidelines for performing all the activities related to the project
(Chapman, 2019). This plan involves several activities such as designing, beginning,
implementing as well as executing and controlling related to project. The project management
plan is used to research about the several aspects that are required for effective planning in order
to achieve organisational objectives within a specified period of time. This includes cost, quality,
resource, scope, time, communication, risk etc. that are described below:
Cost: It is related to the estimation of expenses that are made on the different research
activities such as investment, raw material, employees, equipment’s etc. To evaluate the cost of
any project or research are as follows:

Budgeting- it is a process used for creating a plan of all the possible expenses that will be
made on a project and allows to determine in advance the amount of finance required to meet the
objectives.
Cash flow statement- it is a tool that provide information about inflow and outflow of
cash thus, facilitates effective control on movement of cash through reduce the amount of
wastage of finance.
Cost breakdown structure- it provide a breakdown of various components of costs and
facilitates a continuous compare of actual costs with budgeted thus, lead to a better cost control
system.
Use of Budgeting process is made for this research. The research cost is approximated by
appropriately evaluate the current price that are in the market as well as other elements in order
to prepare budget that are shown below:

Quality: It includes the planning towards the research quality that are totally depends on
the data’s reliability as well as authenticity. In order to maintain the faithfulness of information
through applying several methods such quantitative as as well as qualitative methods of
investigation. Use of following two approaches are made to maintain the relatability and
authenticity of data and ensure the quality of research.
Control chart- a control chart provides study about process changes that take place over
time and data are premeditated. A control chart always provide a mid line for the average, an top
line for the upper control limit and finally a lower line for the lower control limit.
Flow chart- It is basically a type of diagram that represents a workflow or a set of process.
A flowchart can be defined as a diagrammatic representation of an algorithm or a step-by-step
approach for solving a task.

Time: This concept is related to the period of time that is needed in order to achieve the
research objectives. This required for conducting the research activities within the time period
that are totally depends on investigators as well as its team members. For the completion of task,
it requires approximately 3 months time duration.
Risk: This factor shows that while conducting research activity several issues are occurs
that are faced by investigators as well as project manager to adopts changes as per the research
information. This will occur due to the lack of time as well as efficient resources in order to fulfil
the research tasks. While conducting this research various risk are faced that include technical
risk which is related with random changes taking place in technological environment. Beside this
many external risk related with political, social and other legal issues are also prevailing. Further,
project related risk associated with insufficient finance and time are also faced.
Communication: Effective communication networks are needed to make sure that
information’s are flow freely by using formal as well as informal methods of communication
channels in order to demeanor inquiry activity.
Communication matrix- it is a commonly used assessment tool that is designed to spot how the
findings of research will be communicated and provide a framework for logical communication
of findings. Following table is providing information.
Stakeholders In this part of communication matrix all the stakeholders of Bentley
i.e. all its clients, business associates, customers, suppliers, and all
other related party are included.
Communication method Use of thematic approach of presentation and pie chart are made to
have better communication and apart from this use of both formal and
informal communication method and channels are made.
Frequency Timely information is communicated to employees for effective
accomplishment of this research with a rapid frequency.
Responsibility It is the responsibility of researcher and other top authority to
properly communicate findings of this research.
