INTRODUCTION
Globalisation has become an important part of life of individuals as well as businesses.
As trade of businesses at international level is increasing at a rapid pace, there is no question that
they must be having many implications from same. There are various ethical impacts of
globalisation on businesses; especially in the hospitality sector where employees are in direct
contact with customers (O’Neill, 2018). However, these impacts are positive and negative both
which plays a crucial role in influencing the operations of business. Globalisation has led
hospitality industry like all other sectors to develop economically as well as socially along with
making them ethically responsible towards stakeholders so that interests of all can be effectually
met and business can be run in a smooth manner. In the present study, being specific, there will
be discussion on analysing the positive ethical impacts of globalisation on business operations of
hospitality industry with special reference to Hilton hotel, UK.

The present study proved to be highly helpful for gaining in-depth understanding of
various concepts like globalisation, its ethical impacts, business operations of hospitality sector,
positive and negative ethical implications of internationalisation on hotel sectored. Along with
this, I came to know about various strategies that can be used by the firm to deal with negative
ethical impacts of globalisation on business operations (Xu, Ye and Chan, 2018). Further, this
study would help other organisations operating in hospitality industry of UK also to gain
advantage of positive ethical impacts of internationalisation and effectually dealing with its
negative sides. Moreover, this study will support different authors, professors, lecturers and
Ph.D. scholars to in conducting their studies further on similar topic as well as in their teaching
practices. I can say that with this study, my overall analytical and presentations skills have
improved (Humphries, 2017). I have also gained in-depth knowledge with various clear concepts
like ethical implications of globalisation and business operations of hospitality sector with
special reference to hotels.
CONCLUSION
From the above study, it can be concluded that with increasing level of globalisation in
hotel industry of UK, firms operating there like Hilton hotel need to understand the benefits that
they can grab to keep business grow and successful with making successful strategies for
overcoming the challenges that they might have to face due to negative ethical impacts of
internationalisation. It has been assessed from the study that to perform business with fulfilling
all ethical responsibilities is crucial to survive and satisfy all stakeholders including government
which may impose severe penalties for non-compliance of ethical duties. However, compliance
