Introduction
The accommodation sector will be helpful in managing and growing the largest sector
for the tourist industry and providing a wealth of effective opportunities and try to work as
per the different composite meaning and abilities to work. The major meaning of composite
is to handle the degree, treat with the great care and try to provide the basic accommodation
to live and stay while a person is away from their homes. There are different type of spaces
and that are needed to be classified within the hospitality industry. All of these are helpful in
managing and growing the need of hotel, resort, motels, Inns and Guest house (Dickinson and
Smith, 2021). All of these are helpful in gaining and managing the information for the service
and analysing the opportunities. The chosen accommodation service for the second part of the
project is Central Park Hotel, London. This project is divided into two parts; Part one is
presentation which include scale and size of different accommodation and different form of
ownership. Further, role of online reviews on the change in demand and different range of
accommodation and its implication of ownership which are related to grading. Second part, is
a report, which include the role of front office department, assess the contribution of having
housekeeping department and explore the role of different facilities and security plan which
are provided by the chosen accommodation services.

Part A
Scale and size of the lodging services and make a distinguish between commercial and non-
commercial businesses
There are basically different type of accommodation services which are divided into
many parts which are related to Hotels, Motels, resorts, Guest House, Bed and breakfast and
many more are the different type of services which are helpful in making effective
accommodation services. As per the data of the major accommodation sector, UK has 45,000
hotels, and the annual turnover of the hotels are related to Euro 40 billion. In UK most of the
segment are basically related to 51% of the independent hotel, 44% are corporate branded
hotel and only 5% are consortia (Franzosa and et.al., 2021.). All of these are related to major
growth and scale of the accommodation service in future and make sure for addressing and
make a contribution in £2018 bn amount in the UK economy.

There are mainly two type of accommodation services which include Commercial and non-
commercial accommodation services. Commercial include hotels whereas, Non-commercial
include Private, Non-profit and Institutional services.
Commercial accommodation: This will include the primary goals to make profit,
funding and having the financial viability is basically related to the growth and access of the
company (Rodriguez, 2021). The ownership is private, independent legal entities and having
the franchise within the firm.
Non-commercial accommodation: Their main focus is on to serve the data and
make the financial services and able to serve the funding facilities which provide a secondary
support for the companies. Anyone which provide a secondary support to companies, school,
hospital and any other institution.
Explain the dissimilar forms of proprietorship applicable to accommodation facilities
Mainly there are four type of ownership which are applicable to the accommodation
service and make sure to analysis the impact and nature of the applicability’s. Ownership is
that factor of the accommodation sector which are helpful for the companies and make large
scale of operations (Gao and et.al., 2021). The main sector which are classified on the basis
of ownership are Proprietary ownership, Management contract, Franchise, Time share,
Condominium.
Privately owned: This is related to work and make free ownership but also face the
risk for the loss. Here, the owner is free to make decision and make growth within the
business. Hotel Marriott and other hotel of UK are come under this category.
Management contract: This is an arrangement which are helpful for operational
contract which make a separate enterprises which actually perform the necessary effective
function which are helpful for making some effective changes.
Franchise: This is the right way to use and expand the growth of hotels and make a
specify parent for the growth and it will be helpful for prescribed and make a period of the
time. All of these are related to make a strategic change which are helpful for make their own
trademark and helpful in analysing the future oriented situation (Huang, 2021). Holiday Inn is
the perfect example for this type of ownership in the UK.
Leased Hotels; This is related to basically chain and make a corporation and have a
private owner to make a responsible to analysis the impact for represent the safest corner and
