marketplace. Accommodation is one of the largest sector in travel and tourism industry. In this
report organisation chosen is Crowne Plaza, a multinational chain of services at worldwide
headquartered in United Kingdom. This report is going to analysis different types of
accommodation services available in hospitality industry. Moreover, identifying role of front
office department in order to provide best accommodation services along with key roles of
housing departments.

In hospitality industry housing department play's an important role because it is
responsible for maintaining cleanliness and provide better experience so its potential customer's.
It basically emphasis on safety needs of customer's by proving clean and attractive rooms as well
as services.
 Control and supervision - Managers of hotel Crowne Plaza are providing appropriate
training and development to its workers and housekeeping department as well as make
control over supervision so that all staff members can perform accurately and satisfied
customers needs and wants.
 Maintaining safety and security - n hospitality industry housing keeping department is
responsible for maintaining safety and security of customers who have a stay in their
hotel. Managers make sure that fire alert and emergency alarm should work on time
which is necessary to ensure safety in hotel premises.
 Working for 24*7 - Herein, housekeeping department of Hotel Crowne Plaza are
working for 24*7 so that needs of consumers can be satisfy and they feel safe as well as
secure during their pleasant stay.

As per the case scenario, the managers of hotel Crowne Plaza need to train their staff
members for their new business development. For such instance they need to provide proper
training which includes new features as this features will describe such as bed room area, guest
and linens supplier, toiletries and beverage tray. Additionally, this features will help an managers
to train their staff systematically as train staff of hotel are able to forecast liner stock as well as
other guest in order to ensure sufficient supply to meet up requirement and demands of its
potential customer's (Matsuhira and Fujitsu, 2013).Therefore, managers of Crowne Plaza are
forecasting supply as well as introducing collection of information regarding current suppliers
and procedures and technological trends that might impact supply. Herein, there are some of the
forecasting liner stock and other guest suppliers are determined below:

From the above discussion it has been concluded that hospitality industry mainly focused
to improve their quality of services in order to attract large number of customer's. Housekeeping
department are responsible to maintained and keep records in with other division of hotel.
Moreover, It is important to scheduling maintenance to minimize disruption to guest so that they
they can know the things about hotels which are essential. Thus, it is essential to provide safe
working environment that is necessary for security of customer's.
