INTRODUCTION This report discusses statement that evaluates what it means to be an HR professional by using the reference to the current CIPD professional map. There are CIPD Professions Map is generally a tool that outlines behaviours, knowledge and skills which are required for developing a career under the HR (human resource) function. MAIN BODY Means to be an HR professional Becoming a very effective HR professionals is not a small task to a person in market place. Basically, a person has to puts its huge efforts to be a human resource professional. According CIPD professional map, an effective HR professional has always an excellent behaviour which each employee like in the workplace, it mostly has enough knowledge about how to conducts different human resource management practices in the workplace. At the end, HR professional has always many effective skills, like; communication, time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork etc. and these all skills or abilities contributes in professional’s live for working very well in the workplace. Currently most organisations and companies in market place are trying to hire effective HR professionals in their workplace, because when any company has many effective HR professionals, then they can simply manage it’s all employees and workers in the workplace. According to CIPD, professional always contribute in providing very productive workforce to a company in the market place. Means to be an HR professional is very simply that managing all work and operations which can positively affect to any employees in the workplace of a business. In this modern world, a business cannot imagine its business operations without an effective HR professional. After having many professionals of HR, top-level management of a business can simply formulate a very excellent HRM functional department within its work culture. There are recruiting & hiring, training & development, employee relations, employee retention, etc. are major practices to HR professional in the workplace, and each professional has always required to conduct these all practices of human resource management in very proper manner. On the
basis of CIPD professional map, there areethical practice, valuing people, commercial drive and working inclusively, etc. are key behaviors of HR professionals. On the other side, an effective HR professional has always knowledge of people practice, culture & behavior, analytics and creating value and digital working, etc. Without having knowledge about these all aspects, no person can be an effective HR professional. Skills and abilities also highly matter in the job role of HR professional, in which there are employee experience, diversity& and inclusion, communication, problem-solving, team work,employee relations, reward, resourcing, talent management, learning and development and people analytic etc. some major skills or abilities to an effective HR professional. These all behaviors, areas of knowledge and skills & abilitiesare highly mandatory in a person for becoming a HR professional. CONCLUSION It be concluded that, there are appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviour enables to an ordinary person to be an HR professional in market place. Lived experiences in the field of HRM makes people very effective HR professionals.
