adopt a new theme at the retail store. This was a task which required collaboration so I have
decided that all work will be distributed according to the skills and abilities posses by the
members. So I have made the things quite clear and a time frame of 3 days was decided. After
having the plan we all executed with joint effort and become successful in giving the store trendy
look. Team work gives me a greater sense of responsibility in developing unity among the team
members helping in reducing the workload.
Q3. What approaches you use to resolve any issue in different situations?
During the seasons there is lots of customers which comes to the store to buy the
appraisals so during this time the sales goes up. But with this there also comes a lot of problems
of handling the customers. There was one incident when I faced the issue of proper allocating the
tasks to the salesmen. I came to know that customers are not attended properly because everyone
was given different tasks by not looking at their abilities and skills. So to ensure that this thing
does not happen a meeting was called and each one of them was asked about the issue they were
facing. There skills were analysed and to know who will be effective at which position each of
them was given certain tasks which they have to perform. According to it a review report was
developed and each of them was given certain areas at the store to handle. To get better results I
asked them to support each of them and those who will be performing well will be given certain
rewards and incentives. This has brought drastic results and within a week the sales of store went
up.
Q4. How to able to deal with the multitasking and meet the deadlines?
I like to do two things in a single time at my personal and professional life and I prefer to
to have many things going on at once. It keeps my interest and help me in moving forward. I find
gratification in accomplishing more than less so I prefer to take on a little more. It is quite far
better in handling only one issue at a time. I show my full potential during doing any multitask
job and it happens that sometime I face conflicts so I resolve them with different approaches
according to situation. I set the priority for the task which has to be done so that the projects can
be done before deadlines. The one which is quite complicated is resolved with utilising the
resources which acts as competency for the organisation in which I have worked. At a time I can
set goals to know guide my team members that what approaches they have to follow thus making
a structure plan to do any task at a time.

Q5. Tell us your experience in influencing and communicating effectively with other?
While working at Zara, a time came when I was asked to give my services for 2 months
in another store of Zara in the same city. The reason behind this was to bring change in the
working environment for that store as the working environment out there was quite negative.
Due to this the sales was going down and nor employees had proper coordination with each
other. The first thing which I have done there was calling the staff for personal counselling so
that I can know what are their expectations and what makes them motivated. After analysing the
whole scenario I have set a communication platform through those facing any of the issue can
contact me by mails, chats, personal interaction and in the group meeting. There was training
sessions so that the employees can perform in any situation thus making them flexible. I set the
reward system and asked each of them that those who will be performing well with their team
members will be entitled for promotion or incentives. This had positive effect and after the
month store staff were working and was helping each other.

INTERVIEW PRACTICE
At the time of interview simulations it was needed that we should act as interviewers and
interviewees for hiring the leader for UNIQLO store. With such kind of practice I have gained a
lots of benefits and came on certain reflections which are mentioned below:-
After the interview, I have came to know that there are certain key criteria on which the
interviewers of UNIQLO were judging and they ensured that through this they will able
to know my personality from various angles.
Through this practice, I have gained knowledge about my personal and professional skills
which I have. This has gave me the ways which can be adopted by me so that I can give
better performance in next interviews. I can say that I was feeling nervous during the
interviews but now I have developed a self confidence that you don't have to worry if you
show the right attitude.
Other than all, I have analysed that I have didn't gave quite satisfactory answers due to
feeling of nervousness. Although I am convinced that before going for an interview I
need to gain more knowledge about the company where I am applying for the job. I need
to analyse the intention of the interviewers during the interviews and give responses
according to it.

ASSESSMENT CENTRE PRACTICE
This is where you include your reflections from the seminar group assessment simulation.
In the process of team practice I was asked to handle the team and make sure that I along with
my team members check the quality of the products coming in the store. After having discussion
we reached to the decision that how we will be doing this thing and what roles have to allocated
to each member. From this I have made the following reflection:-
After forming the team, I founded was hardly aware about the skills and abilities of the
staff which made me confused about the fact that whether the decision will be effective
or not. But gradually I gain confidence as I personally interacted with them.
In the personal interaction they shared their likes, dislikes and interests through which I
learned the important role of team in every task which has done. With this I came to
know how to start forming a team.
In coming future, I will try to show my interest in more group activities so that I can gain
more knowledge about my potential thus assisting me in making right decision. This will
also help me in developing myself at personal and professional level. In my spare time I
try to take read the biographies of the leaders who had influenced the worlds with their
operations.
