INTRODUCTION
Individual career management is the procedure through which particular person can
make reasoned, proper decisions about their working life as well as the relation within work
or non-work domains (Taylor, Doherty and McGraw, 2015). Career can be developed
through studies, learning several skills and knowledge of particular field. This assignment is
going to explain several things which will help individual in grabbing better job opportunities
in present as well as future. Topic will be cover are cover letter, Curriculum vitae, application
for as well as individual reflection related to entire process.

COVER LETTER
Cover letter is the single page document which is written by individual for
organisation. This include information related to particular person in relation to the vacant job
position. Most important is that cover letter must be attractive which introduce person and
then encourage the reader to read resume also. CV is different from cover letter because in it
writer should be kept in mind that, while sharing skills as well as experience. Along with this,
it must be relating to the vacant position an individual is applying (Siebert and Martin,2016).

When I was working with EFGH company as an accounts manager I handled various
situations the foremost is at the time of auditing. When auditors come for audit in respective
company I made all the employees contribute to their full and helped company to increase
their revenue . When audit sheet has to be prepared it needs the full concentration of all the
employees to particular articulate with the balance sheet and make necessary adjustments
accordingly. Being the accounts manager I had assigned authority to some of the employees
to function accordingly and achieve accuracy in auditing as well as I also conducted training
programmes for providing of Tally and SAP program to make the employees aware of the
software and can properly link up with software and perform accordingly. This also made the
employees efficient and I can develop changes in the organisation when work level is high
compared to employees capability. I have done it through properly motivating them for their
increased work and makes them dedicated to work for the respective organisation. Through
all these ways I have made the employees perform efficiently as well as helps organisation in
achieving their goals and objectives.
Tell us about a time when you identified a new approach to solve a problem.
Problem identified in EFGH company was inaccuracy of data in accounts data. This
led me to the adoption of new systems such as tally software and provided with enough

training to the employees and makes them adapted to such knowledge which helps in
maintaining accuracy in data and avoid any misinterpretation of the data. Records of the data
are checked weekly to identify any repetition in income statement and recheck of ledgers to
prevent any loss of data. With the help of tally systems there accounts are properly
measurable which allows respective company in decision making process effectively. With
the help of these software if the employees are thinking of making the profit personally this
will avoid them and maintains records of each rupee in business. This way I had solved the
problem in previous company and will make sure to solve problem here also and helps
respective organisation to attain business goals. This also makes the employee learn new
methods and accounting software which will help them in future. It also reduces the time of
employees to work on this software rather than doing manually. In addition to this it also
reduces the chance of fraud and business data remains in organisation itself.
Tell us about a time when you had to manage a number of different priorities and complete
a number of tasks in a short amount of time
I am applying for account executive while performing my work several situation may
arise such as year end audit. At this time I have to perform several responsibilities like
checking accounts of company at my hand, matching balance with their opening as well as
closing balance. All these things must be done in the short term so that work related to audit
can be performed in better manner without any financial issue. Along with this, in same
period some conflicts may arise within employees which also become my priority because
such issues may result in decreasing productivity as well as employees turnover. Thus, such
problem must have to be solved on time by making these priority. In this manner I work on
several things by making some of them my priorities.

view
Business environment is dynamic in nature, when I am working in the company
several situation may rise which must be handle by me in proper manner because employees
who are working in my team will learn things from me. There are several situations when
people learnt things from me such as -
 In organisation several problem rise which must be solve on time so it will not
become big issue for other. This thing is learnt by other from me because I solve
issues in smart manner whether It can be in between employees or overall enterprise

INTERVIEW PRACTICE
Interviewer practices are the thing which an individual have to be kept in mind while
going for giving interview. While addressing the interview I need to focus some of the
important aspects which are as follows-
 Preparation- It is the essential step in the whole interview process. I should properly
prepare about the background and history of the company. Along with this I need to
address the post for which interview is conducted to know speciality and the work
which needs to be done.
 Review and anticipate questions- I need to prepare certain questions and make a
proper list of all of them, formulate answer accordingly which will provide great help
in facing interview.
 Dress for success- Dressing sense should be formal not party wear. Corporate
dressing attracts the interviewer and makes me comfortable too. Because first
impression is the last which is given by dressing sense only.
 Observe punctuality- I should need to observe punctuality as it creates good
impression in the minds of interviewer. It is necessary because of an individual is not
coming on time for interview then how he/she will manage things in future related to
their job role.
 Make good impression- I should be able to make good impression in the minds of
interviewer by proper knowledge. This can be only possible through level of
confidence which directly reflect on voice tone and face.
 Ask insightful questions- During interview I should be able to ask proper meaning
full questions to the interview like the salary structure, organisational structure to gain
knowledge.
 Thank the interview- when about to leave the room of interview I should say thanks
to the interview to show respect against him. Because he/she had given me their
precious time and listen things about me.

ASSESSMENT CENTRE PRACTICE
Assessment centre practices is the most lengthiest as well as complicated phase of
overall selection procedure (Kamoche and et. al., 2015). It may take half a day or even three
also as well as it is complicated and unfamiliar tests which arouse tension or pressure within
individual. Moreover, typical assessment centre involve three modules are psychometric,
group or individual simulation and personal interview which have several things which must
be kept in mind while going for test :-
 I should have to go through all the numericals related to my specialisation i.e., finance
and marketing. Along with this personality of particular person reflect their way of
doing things. So I have to kept in mind that my personality will look attractive.
 I should have to prepare for group discussion in proper manner with rules applicable
in it. So I can share my opinions that I am in the favour of this or not.
 In the end for personal interview I must have to dress well and look confident because
first impression is the last. Most important is that I must have proper knowledge about
the field for which I had applied.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion I has been concluded that for better future opportunities or
career it is important learn things related to education in better manner. Apart from this, while
applying for vacant position in an organisation individual must have to attach cover letter
along with CV which include their past experience.
