INTRODUCTION
Managing the people in the organisation needs to be effective in order to carry out the
operations effectively in the workplace. There are various factors which includes recruitment,
Training and management of the employees (Jackson, and Donovan, 2020). Human resources
manager needs to follow various duties and work responsibilities in an systematic manager to
manage the organisation operations. Unilever is brand which meets the everyday requirements of
the consumers and provides quality products. It is a British multinational company which aims to
enrich the lives of various customers through their products and services. The report aims to
analyse about understand the recruitment and selection process. On the other hand, there will be
brief discussion about the theories of motivation and the application of these theories in the
workplace. Along with that, there will be evaluation about the factors which influence the
individual behaviour in the workplace.

Recruitment and selection process is important for the organisation. The company needs
to find best candidates for the job position in order to become more profitable in the market.
There are various steps which are included in the recruitment and selection process which is
described below:
Application – This is the first factor the human resource manager needs to prepare the
application for attract a lot of potential candidates for the organisation. Unilever HR
manager prepares an effective application which includes all the necessary duties and
work responsibilities which the individual needs to perform (Malik, 2018). New
technological software help the organisation to attract various candidates with different
platforms.
Screening and selection - After the application process the organisation attracts various
individuals. The organisation had to choose best candidate according to the job position.
Unilever HR management has necessary experience in terms of choosing the right
candidate among different individuals.
Interview – This is the most important step the organisation asks various questions from
the candidate and judge their capability and knowledge.
