INTRODUCTION
There is a large impact of digitisation on the growth of little enterprise activities. Use of
digital technology on the operations of company provides new ways to complete their functions.
This will also provide an opportunity to management of company to find out better solution
regarding problems during expansion of the business activities. Use of digital technology
provides various tools and techniques thorough which operational cost of transactions is reduced
and overall profitability is increased. This provides an opportunity to capture a large market
share and attract customers towards their business activities. Career Moves Group is a small
company that is chosen for the present study. The firm operates their business activities in the
UK. They provide professional services regarding staffing and recruitment of individuals (Crane
and Matten, 2016).
In the present report explain about, aims and targets behind the use of innovative
techniques, preparation of project management plan, organisational structure and stages of
completion of project, use of research methods in carrying out research regarding achievement of
project aims and objectives. Here also describe about, the use of different methods used for
analysis of information collected from such research and recommendation regarding use of data
in drawing valid conclusions.
TASK 1
P1. Aim and targets regarding request of digitisation
Career Moves Group is a tiny company that provides services of staffing and recruitment
of individuals in the UK. Main aim of company is to appoint fresh talent for companies which
provide business activities in the UK. Such professional services of cited company satisfy the
demand of corporate sector and individuals that are searching for jobs. To provide quality
services and expand their business activities, management of company decided to make changes
in their present procedures and techniques. For this purpose, they decided to use digital
technology while providing their services. Such implementation of digital technology in business
functions provides various platforms regarding expansion of operations. This provides an
opportunity to make use of online technology to place advertisements at social sites. This will
help to attract a large number of people which have great talent and skills. Such online process
also contributes in the selection of best candidates out of pool of candidates which help company
to save their time and cost. In today's world, young generation is active on social media and use

different online sources to apply for different job vacancies. So, use of digital technology
provides a chance to reach at large number of candidates and expand their business activities
effectively (Den Hertog, Van der Aa and De Jong, 2010).

Now use of advance technology is increase day by day to operate their functions. It has a
great impact to capture a large market share. Digital technology provides an opportunity to use
various methods to research about industry unit, rival, customer liking, etc. This will provide a
chance to understand about demand which arise in market in the future and provide their
products and services accordingly to satisfy them. This also helps in the identification of new
diversified business ideas through which they expand their business activities. In the given case,
Career Moves Group also uses digital technology which provides them use of online technology
to attract a large number of qualified candidates towards their services. This will also provide an
opportunity to them to attract large companies of UK in which number of positions are vacant to
provide their services regarding staffing and recruitment.

Objectives of company is to utilisation online application to spread out their enterprise
action. This assist to make their work more good and diversified which satisfy different criteria
of their consumers.

To effectively implement the use of digital technology in company, management has to
make plan regarding different aspects. All these aspects are important to make the project
successful and improve operations of company (DRURY, 2013). Careers moves group is a tiny

institution which provides paid work regarding recruitment and selection of candidates. They
intend to use online technology to attract qualified candidates and expand their business
activities in large area. Online technology has a large reach as compared to other strategies which
are used by company. These plans work as regulation which are needed to be followed by the
worker while acting their activities for the success of organisation. Project management plan
which is made by the management of company includes following important aspects which are
defined as below:
 Scope of project: The scope of digital technology is very wide in today's world because
it includes various tools which reduces the operational cost and increase the probability.
Use of online technology by Career moves group has very wide scope to expand their
business activities and diversify their services. This method helps to reach out to the
individuals of whole country.
 Cost: Implement of digital technology in performing their functions by company requires
large amount of investments. Firstly, they have to change their line and make their
internet site thorough which they spot their publicise regarding empty posts. Secondly,
they have to provide training to their employees to effectively use such new technology
increases their operational cost. But all such have long term benefits to increase the
profitability of company.
 Time: It is time consuming process to implement new technology and provides training
to their employees to effectively use such new techniques. But it has long term effect to
increase their probability and make good relation with their consumers. This will helps
the management to complete their functions within stipulated time which has been
provide by corporates. This provides the chance to build their confidence and loyalty
towards their services ( Eckerson, 2010).
 Communication: Use of online technology by company helps to effectively
communicate with candidates and corporates by use of online technology. This saves the
time of the management. This helps to advertise their services in large market. This will
also provides the management to easily communicate different roles and duties to their
employees which they have to perform to achieve their targets.
 Quality: Use of digital technology provides the opportunity regarding research about
different aspects of market. This helps to understand about demand of corporates and

candidates and to provide quality services to them which satisfies the criteria of both.

there is need to make research about different important matters. Such research provides
important informations through which they can interpret important data to make their strategies
and plans. This will enhance the ability of management to take effective decisions regarding

performances. Research about market provides the information regarding other companies which
are using digital technology while providing their services and the strategies adopt by them. This
will helps in identification of scope of digital technology to expand their business activities. It
also provides the opportunity to identifies the demands of consumers and their preferences. This
helps to make change in their services and satisfies their demands. Through all such operations
they have opportunity to attain competitive advantage and make their image good. Such

The main objective of this company is to expand their business operations by application of
online tools and techniques. In first step of research, information is collect about different

aspects which is used by the management to make their own strategies and plans. This shows
about how digital technology helps the company to increase their business activities. To conduct
the research, management has select 30 respondents from total number of population to asked
different questions regarding impact of digital technology and about the success of their project.
This helps the management to get the views of the respondents about their actual services and
how digital technology improves their brand image. Literature review is also conduct by the
management. All these respondents which are select by company from random sampling method,
which provides their feedback on the decision making of management regarding use of online
method of selection of candidates.
All this research provides important information to manager of Career moves group to
prepare their plans regarding implementation of digital technology in company effectively. Such
strategies and plans contributes to effectively use their given resources in accomplishment of
their objectives. To collect the information the method which is used by researcher is primary
source of data collection (Gebauer, Edvardsson and Bjurko, 2010). For this purpose, they
prepared questionnaire in which 10 questions are asked regarding impact of digital technology
and about their existing services. After preparation of such questionnaire, they approach the
respondents which are select from the population. It is not easy to implement online technology
in company. They have to take various measures for the success of their plans. Time frame
which is required to adopt such plans is easily understandable from such figure which is given
below:

The strategies made by the management helps the manager to guide their employees and
provide them assistance to effectively perform their functions. Such strategies contributes in
effective decision making and increase their market share.

The main methods which are used by the researcher for conduct their research is
qualitative and quantitative methods. Both these methods helps the management to gather
theoretical and practical knowledge about their research topic. It is the duty of researcher to
adopt best method which provides accurate and reliable information. This helps the management
of company to drive optimum results from such information. This company is required to make
research about market, competitors, their strategies, services provide by them, market position
etc. These research results helps the company to properly expand their business activities in all
over the country. Researcher ,mainly used two methods to collect data from market which are
primary and secondary. The primary method of data collection provides first hand information
which is directly asked from respondents (Giovannoni, Maraghini and Riccaboni, 2011). Such
information is accurate and reliable from which exact interpretation is made by the management

of company. Secondary method which is used by the management of company for data
collection provides the information from articles , newspapers, magazines etc. Such source of
information is not much important as compared to primary source of data collection. To use
primary source of data collection researcher prepared questionnaire in which 10 questions are
asked about use of digital technology and feedback regarding their existing services. Such
information helps to make decision regarding use of online technology or not on their operations.
There are main three methods are available to research for conduct their research about
different aspects. These three methods are named below:

 Quantitative
 Analytical
The management of company advised to researcher to take only two methods for their
research purpose is qualitative and quantitative methods.
 Primary source of collection: This method is used by the management of company to
collect accurate information from the respondents about the research topic. This is the
method which requires large amount of fund and time to collect such informations. The
data collect from this method provides only reliable data which provides only true
reaction of society. To use this method questionnaire is prepared in which 10 different

which are already used in providing information for another purposes. The sources from
which information is collected are newspaper, magazines, articles etc. These information
are not much accurate and reliable as compared to primary source. But this will helps the
management save their valuable time in collection of the information. This method is not
much costly as compared to primary method.
Case study one: The vision of company is to expand their small business activities and acquire
large market share. For this purpose, they start to use online sources to advertise about vacant

posts in different companies and select qualified candidates. This helps to saves their time and
reduce operational cost. This is like adding up an additional feature to their services in the
process of recruitment and selection (Herzig and et. al., 2012).
Case study second: The aim of company is identify the preferences of both candidates and
corporates like what they want from their services. This helps to design their action plans
according to their preferences and satisfies their different demand. This helps to builds their
confidence and gain their loyalty towards the services of company.

recruitment and selection in UK. The main aim of company is to expand their business activities
and earn large number of profits. For this purpose, management of company implement digital
technology in company. To ensure effective implementation they make research about different
aspects like market, competitors, consumers preference etc. Such research provide important
information which helps to know views about respondents regarding their services. This will
provides various platforms thorough which they can advertise their posts to qualified candidates.
This helps in make smilier the whole process of recruitment and selection which saves the time
and cost both. This will make their communication process more effective and increases the
power of management to make effective decisions.
So, it is concluded from above research that it helps in attain competitive advantage and
increase their profitability by capturing the large market share (Macintosh and Quattrone, 2010).
TASK 4
P7 Value of undertaking research to meet objectives
There are many problems are faced by researcher during conduct their research about
different aspects. To remove such problems they have to make proper plans and properly execute
them. There are many issues are faced related to time and cost by researcher while conducting
their research. During research, I have very less amount of funds to properly conduct my
research activities. This will affects my ability to conclude proper outcomes. I have faced the
problem regarding time also. Due to having limited time, I select only 30 respondents from total
population to collect important information about use of digital technology. To make my
research more better I also used secondary source of information to collect data but such
information is nor much reliable as compared to data which are collected from primary source.
There are many other platforms are used to collect information this will reduce accuracy of my
research report. But after that I put my maximum effort to provide good research report through

which management of company takes better decision and optimum utilise their given resources
in implementation of digital technology (Otley and Emmanuel, 2013).
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above report that, digital technology provide various
platforms to expand their business activities. It the given case cited company also get lots of
opportunities to expand business operations online. To effectively implement digital technology
in company the management has required to make research about different aspects by
applicat6ion of qualitative an quantitative methods. This provides lots of important information
which is used to make many important strategies and plans.
